In this work, satellite images classification for Al Chabaish marshes and the area surrounding district in (Dhi Qar) province for years 1990,2000 and 2015 using two software programming (MATLAB 7.11 and ERDAS imagine 2014) is presented. Proposed supervised classification method (Modified Vector Quantization) using MATLAB software and supervised classification method (Maximum likelihood Classifier) using ERDAS imagine have been used, in order to get most accurate results and compare these methods. The changes that taken place in year 2000 comparing with 1990 and in year 2015 comparing with 2000 are calculated. The results from classification indicated that water and vegetation are decreased, while barren land, alluvial soil and shallow water are increased for year 2000 comparing with 1990. Water, vegetation and barren land are increased, while alluvial soil and shallow water decreased for years 2015 comparing with 2000. The classification accuracy for the proposed method (MVQ) is 90.1%, 90.9% and 90.2% for years 1990, 2000 and 2015, respectively.

This research provides a new method to study praise poetry that can be used as a course to teach English and Arabic to students in the College of Education. This research answers two questions:
- Is it possible to examine praise poetry as a tagmeme?
- Is this analysis of great help in teaching English and Arabic to students in the College of Education?
The data that will be chosen for the purpose of analysis are two of Shakespeare's sonnets and two of AL Mulik's poems. The sonnets selected for this purpose are 17 and 18. AL Mulik's poems selected for the same purpose are 8 and 9.

Show MoreThis study was designed to investing the drug prescribing pattern which is the important point in the rational or irrational use of drugs among patients dispensing their prescriptions from the private pharmacies in Maysan governorate, Iraq for a period of 1 month. The data collected from prescriptions were calculated and analyzed according to the WHO prescribing guidelines. Numerous research studies have been conducted on why some learners acquire a second language more easily and quickly than others. Most of these studies have demonstrated that acquiring a second language does not depend only on learners’ cognitive ability or professional teaching strategies. The learning language process is more complicated than that. It is affected by crucial factors that are beyond the control of learners and teachers. These factors are known as sociolinguistic factors. These factors include culture, age, motivation, socio-economic status, and gender. This research paper mainly concentrates on the role of motivation in second language acquisition.
