 The synthesis of complexes for (Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2) with new ligand (5-C-dimethyl malonyl-pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate) (L) have been successfully prepared and characterized by (1H and 13CNMR, FTIR, (U.V-Vis) spectroscopy, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (A.A.s), Molar conductivity measurements and Magnetic moment measurements, and the following general formula has been given for the prepared complexes [M(L)Cl2] where M = (Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2, Hg+2),  L = (5-C-dimethyl malonyl-pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate).

A new ligand [3(3(2chloroacetyl) thioureido)pyrazine-2-carboxyliIcacid](CPC)was synthesized by reaction of rized by imicro elmental analysis C.H.N.S.,FT-IR,UV-Vis and 1H-13CNMR spectra, some transition metals complex ofIthis ligand were Prepared and characterized byiFT-IR,UV-Vis spectra conductivity measurements magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the obtained results the molecular formula of all prepared complexes were[M(CPC)2](M+2i=Mn. Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg),the proposedi geometrical structure for all complexes were as tetrahedral geometry except copper complex has square planer geometry.

 New complexes of cobalt (II). palladium (II). and platiniurn(H) with 5-phenyl- 1.3,4-oxadiazole-2- thioethylcarbanate (OXE) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, 1R.L-V-Vis spectra. magnetic susceptipibility. and conductivity- measurements. This system was used to detect the presence of pollutants in the dust storms that swept the city of Baghdad which could have a negative impact on human health and living organisms.
