The relationship between respiratory diseases and natural geographical variables relative to temperature, relative humidity, wind and solar radiation is a strong one.
The environmental factors have impact on increasing the proportion of people with respiratory diseases in the province of Najaf, especially industrial pollution and working conditions as well as the economic level.
Ah-Mishkhab was in the first rank in terms of the number of people infected with respiratory diseases reached 135177 and 41%, followed by Najaf governorate which reached its numbers to 77801 and 23%. The district of Kufa ranked third with 42051 and 13%, and the other administrative units at fourth and fifth rank respectively.

To estimate the frequency of anti-neutrophile cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) in sera from a group of Iraqi patients with some autoimmune diseases compared with a healthy control group.      The metformin drug  is anti-hyperglycemia  and known to cross the placenta  which leads to the fetus during pregnancy .The aim of this study is to  define the drug  effects in the fetus growth . Objective(s): The study aimed to assess the level of nursing performance and practices in terms of approaching or
distancing itself from the optimal performance criteria universally adopted within the variable dressing surgical
wounds of patients admitted to the surgical wards, and determine the relationship between the level of nurse's
performance and socio-demographic characteristics of them in those wards.
Methodology: A descriptive assessing design was adopted from November the 10th, 2010 until June the 1st, 2011 to
assess the nursing care provided practices for the postoperative period within the variable dressing surgical wounds in
the complex of Medical City. Whereas the study was conducted in three hospitals; Ba
