Image retrieval is used in searching for images from images database. In this paper, content – based image retrieval (CBIR) using four feature extraction techniques has been achieved. The four techniques are colored histogram features technique, properties features technique, gray level co- occurrence matrix (GLCM) statistical features technique and hybrid technique. The features are extracted from the data base images and query (test) images in order to find the similarity measure. The similarity-based matching is very important in CBIR, so, three types of similarity measure are used, normalized Mahalanobis distance, Euclidean distance and Manhattan distance. A comparison between them has been implemented. From the results, it is concluded that, for the database images used in this work, the CBIR using hybrid technique is better for image retrieval because it has a higher match performance (100%) for each type of similarity measure so; it is the best one for image retrieval.
The current research aims to analyze the chemistry books for the preparatory stage according to life skills for the academic year (2019-2020) and to know the life skills contained in the chemistry books for the preparatory stage through the following two questions:1-What life skills should be available in the content of chemistry books prescribed for middle school students approved by the Ministry of Education, General Directorate of Curricula in the academic year(2019-2020). 2-What is the percentage of life skills included in the content of chemistry textbooks prescribed for middle school students approved by the Ministry of Education, General Directorate of Curricula in the academic year (2019-2020). The stories of children in Iraq during the past two decades have received a number of important scientific studies. Despite tyranny of the historical study method on most of these studies, they have been and still are very important, because they have established a chronicle of this literary style that has been neglected and based not only on the academic level and serious in-depth university studies but also on the enclosed sight that doesn’t consider studied art as an innovation with its specificity and its typical technical components. While many of the public impressions and self-reflections contributed to the dominance of some of the provisions and concepts that were circulated as critical remarks and adopted by som

The study sample consisted of all (85) images contained in the chemistry course for the third intermediate grade, which are (85) form using the curriculum. Analytical descriptive A list of visual thinking skills was prepared, and the unit of form was adopted as a unit of analysis and repetition as a unit of counting, and frequencies and percentages were used for statistical treatment, and validity and reliability were calculated. And using the Holste equation. The following results were reached: The skill

The results showed that the Lemon balm had the highest phenolic content (56.5% mg g) and the phenolic content of Oregano was twice lower than Lemon balm. Lemon balm has the highest antioxidant activity which causes lipid peroxidation inhibition activity of linoleic acid (90.5%), this activity was more than ?-tocopherole antioxidant activity (79.3 %). It was found that the main source of antioxidant activity o

By answering the following question “what is the percentage of availability of multiple intelligence in the content of the computer textbooks on intermediate stage (grade I, II) for the academic year (2017-2018)? The researcher followed the descriptive analytical research approach (content analysis), and adopted an explicit idea for registration. The research tool was prepared according the Gardner’s classification of multiple intelligence. It has proven validity and reliability. The study found the percentage of multiple intelligence in the content of computer textbooks for the in
