The issue of peace, renunciation of violence, and acceptance of the other is one of the vital issues that rose to the top of the list of priorities at the end of the last century and the beginning of the new millennium of the conscience of the Iraqi people by spreading the culture of peace. In this context, we seek during this research to identify the concept of the culture of peace and its impact on sustainable development, and to draw a set of results and suggestions to consolidate this culture in our Iraqi society as an obligation of sustainable development.

This work describes, selenium (Se) films were deposited on clean glass substrates by dc planar magnetron sputtering technique.The dependence of sputtering deposition rate of Se film deposited on pressure and DC power has been studied. The optimum argon pressure has range (4x10-1 -8x10-2 )mbar. The optical properties such as absorption coefficient (α) was determined using the absorbance and transmission measurement from UnicoUV-2102 PC spectrophotometer, at normal incidence of light in the wavelength range of 200-850 nm. The study aimed to investigate the effect of using the intructional computer individually or through the cooperative groups on the achievement of the ninth grade students in mathematics compared to the traditional method. The experimental method adapted three groups out of three schools were chosen, two groups of the students where applied the computer method. The comtrol group used the simple random method, and it used the diagnostic test as tool for the study.The result showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental groups and the control group on the post-test for the two experimental groups.
