Hiding a Secret Message Encrypted by S-DES Algorithm

Nowadays, it is quite usual to transmit data through the internet, making safe online communication essential and transmitting data over internet channels requires maintaining its confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of the transmitted data from unauthorized individuals. The two most common techniques for supplying security are cryptography and steganography. Data is converted from a readable format into an unreadable one using cryptography. Steganography is the technique of hiding sensitive information in digital media including image, audio, and video. In our proposed system, both encryption and hiding techniques will be utilized. This study presents encryption using the S-DES algorithm, which generates a new key in each cycle to increases the complexity of the algorithm detection. An additional shared key between the sender and the receiver is added which is applied before starting the encryption process, that key must be hex-decimal in order to increase the level of security and give enough time to delay the guessing of the secret text by the attackers.  The secret message data is concealed using one of the two techniques: either least significant bit (3-LSB) steganography or hiding in green and blue bits. To expedite the concealment process, the cover image is enhanced by applying a median filter, the median filter removes noise from the image while preserving its details. Finally, comparing the results of the two methods to determine which is better for the cover image in terms of PSNR metrics and hiding process time.

Modified Light Stemming Algorithm for Arabic Language

Stemming is a pre-processing step in Text mining applications as well as it is very important in most of the Information Retrieval systems. The goal of stemming is to reduce different grammatical forms of a word and sometimes derivationally related forms of a word to a common base (root or stem) form like reducing noun, adjective, verb, adverb etc. to its base form. The stem needs not to be identical to the morphological root of the word; it is usually sufficient that related words map to the same stem, even if this stem is not in itself a valid root. As in other languages; there is a need for an effective stemming algorithm for the indexing and retrieval of Arabic documents while the Arabic stemming algorithms are not widely available.

Design Active Filter Based on Genetic Algorithm

The  lossy-FDNR  based  aclive  fil ter has an  important   property among  many  design  realizations. 'This includes  a significant reduction in component count particularly in the number  of OP-AMP which consumes   power.  However  the·  problem  of  this   type  is the  large component spreads  which affect the fdter performance.

In  this  paper   Genetic   Algorithm   is  applied   to  minimize   the component  spread   (capacitance  and  resistance  p,read). The minimization of these spreads allow the fil

Genetic Algorithm based Clustering for Intrusion Detection

Clustering algorithms have recently gained attention in the related literature since
they can help current intrusion detection systems in several aspects. This paper
proposes genetic algorithm (GA) based clustering, serving to distinguish patterns
incoming from network traffic packets into normal and attack. Two GA based
clustering models for solving intrusion detection problem are introduced. The first
model coined as handles numeric features of the network packet, whereas
the second one coined as concerns all features of the network packet.
Moreover, a new mutation operator directed for binary and symbolic features is
proposed. The basic concept of proposed mutation operator depends on the most
frequent value

Image Compression Based on Arithmetic Coding Algorithm

The past years have seen a rapid development in the area of image compression techniques, mainly due to the need of fast and efficient techniques for storage and transmission of data among individuals. Compression is the process of representing the data in a compact form rather than in its original or incompact form. In this paper, integer implementation of Arithmetic Coding (AC) and Discreet Cosine Transform (DCT) were applied to colored images. The DCT was applied using the YCbCr color model. The transformed image was then quantized with the standard quantization tables for luminance and chrominance. The quantized coefficients were scanned by zigzag scan and the output was encoded using AC. The results showed a decent compression ratio

The Poetics of Transition in T. S. Eliot's "Ash-Wednesday"
  1. S. Eliot is one of the important founders of the modernist movement in literature, a cutting-edge poet of the first order. After his 1927 conversion to Anglicanism, he began calling himself a conservative, royal, and a classicist.
  2. "Ash Wednesday" is the first long poem written by him after his conversion. It deals with the struggle that ensues when one who has lacked faith acquires it. It is richly but ambiguously allusive, and deals with the aspiration to move from spiritual barrenness to hope for human salvation.

"Ash Wednesday" not only struggles with an approach to faith but with an approach to a language capable of expressing it. Eliot's style is different from that that predates his conve

Importance of S-point in the Management of Severe Epistaxis

Although severe epistaxis is uncommon, it is serious. The systematic endoscopic nasal examination is an essential step in identifying the bleeding point and aiding electrocauterization. Currently, the S-point, which is located in the superior part of the nasal septum behind the septal body and corresponding to the axilla of the middle concha, is identified in about 30% of cases with severe epistaxis. Cauterization of this point has an excellent rate of controlling the bleeding and preventing its recurrence. We aimed to highlight the significance of the S-point in the management of severe cases of epistaxis.

The reality of women's sports in Basra Governorate

In our current era, women need to practice sports activities in order to compensate for the lack of movement. The development of life and the introduction of technology in all fields contributed to reducing body movements to the maximum. Many movements were also shortened, and some parts of the body became almost static. All machines became available in homes. Necessary to help women clean and cook. The presence of transportation also restricted women, so the walking sport that women used to practice when they went shopping in nearby places or to visit friends disappeared. As a result, many health problems emerged, prompting some developed countries to allocate financial aid with the help of insurance companies to these patients. The researc
