A Comparative Analytical Study of Some Biomechanical Variables and Their Relationship to The Accuracy of The Performance of The Shooting Skill of Jumping High in The Weak and Strong Foot the Players for Youth Handball
...Show More Authors

The research aims to identify the most important variables affecting shooting from jumping high and compare them for the two foot the weak and strong, where the researchers adopted the descriptive method, and the sample was chosen by the intentional method, which consists of (4) players from the Iraqi Sports Army Club, where these variables were studied and their impact on The accuracy of aiming at the two men, and the researchers concluded that most of the players have more accuracy in aiming at the strong leg than at the weak leg, which leads to the loss of many real opportunities during the match because of the players changing the situation or wasting the available opportunity when the position of correction is an opportunity for the weak leg.

ABSTRACTBackground: In Medical ethics education, improving medical student’s attitudes toward respecting the right of patients is an essential task. The medical students’ attitude has been affected by social, educational and personality background factors. Objective: To investigate medical student’s attitudes regarding medical ethics courses.Method: The study was conducted in Al-Kindy College of Medicine on academic year (2013 -2014) for the period from January to September. A cross- sectional study design was adopted with a self- administered questionnaire form distributed to medical students in the 5th-6th under graduate grades. The questionnaire consisted of 31 items relevant to student’s opinion about attitudes concerning ethi

Serum Trace Elements ( Se+2, Cu+2, Zn+2) in Patients with Behcet's Disease
...Show More Authors

Background: Extensive reports denote the biological role of trace elements (Cu Zn ", Se ') in many various physiological and pathological conditions, one of the list is shown to be Behcet's disease (BD).The aim of this study was directed towards the distribution of trace elements (Cu 2,Zn, 2,Se 2) in sera of BD patients, and control groups.
Methods: Fifty Arab Iraqi patients who fulfdled the ISO criteria for diagnosis BD.compared with 21 patients control with recurrent oral ulcer (ROU), healthy control groups (2Ihealthy relative and 21healthy volunteer). Typing HLA Class I was carried out at Alkarama hospital, by using microlympho-cytotoxicity test. The concentrations of serum Cu ', Zn ", and Se" were determined by atomic absorption s

Ghrelin Levels in Male Patients with Hyperlipoproteinemia I, II versus Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
...Show More Authors

Background; Hyperlipoproteinemia (HLP)  are divided in primary and secondary subtypes. Primary HLP is usually due to genetic causes. Secondary HLP is resulting from another underlying disorder such as diabetes mellitus that leads to alterations in plasma lipid and lipoprotein metabolism, HLP may be idiopathic .

Patients and Methods; Ninety male individuals (age 30-45)years were enrolled in this study which were divided into three groups as follows:- (G1) consist of 30 healthy male individuals as a control group, (G2) consist of  30 male patients with (HLP) without any other disease  (15 of them were HLP1,the other were HLP11), (G3) consist of 30 male patients with DM2 without any o

Hartha Formation divisions Based on Well Logs Analysis in Majnoon Oil Field, Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study aims to evaluate reservoir characteristics of Hartha Formation in Majnoon oil field based on well logs data for three wells (Mj-1, Mj-3 and Mj-11). Log interpretation was carried out by using a full set of logs to calculate main petrophysical properties such as effective porosity and water saturation, as well as to find the volume of shale. The evaluation of the formation included computer processes interpretation (CPI) using Interactive Petrophysics (IP) software.  Based on the results of CPI, Hartha Formation is divided into five reservoir units (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2), deposited in a ramp setting. Facies associations is added to well logs interpretation of Hartha Formation, and was inferred by a microfacies analysis of th

Nano-reinforcement effect on PMMA denture base mechanical properties after immersing in different solution
...Show More Authors

Poly methyl methacrylate PMMA polymer has been used continually in dental application during the recent years. Yet, it is commonly known for its poor strength properties for long periods under pressure. The aim of this research was to improve the performance of PMMA denture base through the addition of different nanoparticles selected from artificial and natural sources. For comparison, Nano -particles from Al2O3 and crushed pistachio shell were utilised. (1%, 2% and 3%) were the weight fraction used in this study for both reinforcement types. In this work, a study and evaluation in of Compression Strength (C.S.) as well as Young’s Modulus (Y) was done before and after exposure for special liquids. The new prepared composites were immerse

Revitalizing Interior Designs in Religious Shrines: رؤى صلاح الدين حامد فريد-فاتن عباس الاسدي
...Show More Authors

The current research is interested in the objective study of revitalizing the religious sites and the extent to which they achieve the pragmatic and semantic ends, because they are derived from history and civilization and have a clear impact over the recipient. The research question is (what are the techniques of developing the spaces of the religious shrines in accordance with revitalizing the interior spaces within them?).
The research aims at determining the weak and strong points in the process of revitalizing the interior spaces in the religious shrines.
The theoretical framework consists of two parts: the first addressed the revitalization in the interior design, and the second addressed the religious shrines and th

Finite Element Investigation on Shear Lag in Composite Concrete-Steel Beams with Web Openings
...Show More Authors

In this paper, effective slab width for the composite beams is investigated with special emphasis on the effect of web openings. A three dimensional finite element analysis, by using finite element code ANSYS, is employed to investigate shear lag phenomenon and the resulting effective slab width adopted in the classical T-beam approach. According to case studies and comparison with limitations and rules stipulated by different standards and codes of practice it is found that web openings presence and panel proportion are the most critical factors affecting effective slab width, whereas concrete slab thickness and steel beam depth are less significant. The presence of web opening reduces effective slab width by about 21%.

Automatically Recognizing Emotions in Text Using Prediction by Partial Matching (PPM) Text Compression Method
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we investigate the automatic recognition of emotion in text. We perform experiments with a new method of classification based on the PPM character-based text compression scheme. These experiments involve both coarse-grained classification (whether a text is emotional or not) and also fine-grained classification such as recognising Ekman’s six basic emotions (Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness, Sadness, Surprise). Experimental results with three datasets show that the new method significantly outperforms the traditional word-based text classification methods. The results show that the PPM compression based classification method is able to distinguish between emotional and nonemotional text with high accuracy, between texts invo
