Analysis of the agricultural insurance portfolio for the Iraqi National Insurance Company
...Show More Authors

The agricultural sector suffers from many risks and natural disasters, such as droughts and heavy rains that cause floods, as well as hail and agricultural pests, etc., that threaten agricultural activity and reduce it, which leads to the failure of farmers and peasants for fear of being subjected to continuous losses. Nevertheless, we notice almost complete reluctance to move towards agricultural insurance, due to the dependence of farmers on the government, which adopts the principle of compensation instead of agricultural insurance when natural disasters happen despite the difficulties and financial hardship as well as the suspicion of corruption that haunt the compensation process and this represents the most important problem for research In addition to the weakness of agricultural insurance With its current mechanisms and the absence of its own law that includes government support. The importance of the study is highlighted through the role of agricultural insurance in continuing to secure farmers ’income and ensuring food access to the citizen, as it is a true contributor to reducing agricultural risks. The research aims to analyze the current reality to find new frameworks by proposing a draft law on agricultural insurance and establishing a fund for managing agricultural risks that will be a substitute for the law in the event that it is not legislated or because of the delay in the legislative procedures of the law. The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the absence of a law on agricultural insurance, in addition to the absence of any government support for this activity other than global experiences. Several recommendations were presented, the most important of which are:The necessity of having a strategy for agricultural insurance that includes government support for insurance premiums of no less than 30% and the establishment of a Shareholding company consisting of the public and private sectors, In addition to forming of specialized committees to establish a partnership between farmers and the Ministry of Agriculture to raise awareness of this type of insurance. Some parameters for the resize graph of G2(4)

Topological indices provide important insights into the structural characteristics of molecular graphs. The present investigation proposes and explores a creative graph on a finite group G, which is known as the RIG. This graph is designated as ΓRS G2(4) indicating a simple undirected graph containing elements of G. Two distinct ertices are regarded as nearly the same if and only if their sum yields a non-trivial involution element in G. RIGs have been discovered in various finite groups. We examine several facets of the RIG by altering the graph through the conjugacy classes of G. Furthermore, we investigate the topological indices as applications in graph theory applying the distance matrix of the G2(4) group.

Modeling the Effect of Particle Packing Density for Sintering
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>This research studies the effect of particle packing density on sintering TiO2 microstructure. Sintering experiment was conducted on compacts involving of monodisperse spherical TiO2 particles. The experimental results are modeled using L2-Regression technique in studing the effect of two theoretical values of 55% and 69% of initial packing densities. The mathematical simulation shows that the lower values of density compacts sintered fast to theoretical density and this reflects that particle packing density improved densification rate because of the competing influence of grain growth at higher values of densities.</p>

The Civil liability of tobacco companies for smoking damage
...Show More Authors

Tobacco products of all kinds are harmful to public health, so legislation has paid great attention to regulating the process of tobacco production and distribution, whether at the level of national or international legislation, in a way that achieves legal protection for these products, so the establishment of civil liability for tobacco companies as a result of harm to the smoker The positive and the negative provoked a jurisprudential dispute due to the specificity of the work of these companies, and the jurisprudence differed in the legal nature of tobacco companies ’liability between contractual and tort liability in a way that enables the injured smoker to obtain his right to compensation.

Using CRF Tool for Analyzing the Resilience of Cities
...Show More Authors

The new sustainable development goals set by the UN include a goal of making cities inclusive, safe, sustainable, and resilient. Cities are growing at huge rates, and conditions of deteriorating QOL̛s are increasing in the form of poor access to services, and slums are remarkable, especially in the cities of the Middle East; hence, the research problem can arise from a lack of knowledge regarding the in determination of a way to assess the resilience of cities to develop mechanisms that will improve the quality of urban life. In this study, a tool called CRF has been applied for the assessment of the city's resilience principles of health and quality of life, economics and social, infrastructure and environmental systems, and the principle

A Mathematical Study for the Transmission of Coronavirus Disease
...Show More Authors

Globally, the COVID-19 pandemic’s development has presented significant societal and economic challenges. The carriers of COVID-19 transmission have also been identified as asymptomatic infected people. Yet, most epidemic models do not consider their impact when accounting for the disease’s indirect transmission. This study suggested and investigated a mathematical model replicating the spread of coronavirus disease among asymptomatic infected people. A study was conducted on every aspect of the system’s solution. The equilibrium points and the basic reproduction number were computed. The endemic equilibrium point and the disease-free equilibrium point had both undergone local stability analyses. A geometric technique was used

Electrical stimulation for the treatment of Knee joint osteoarthritis
...Show More Authors

Abstract 20 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joint were treated by electrical stimulation in the form of 6 sessions every other day each sessions of diphase fixe (DF) for 4 minutes followed by rest for 4 minutes then treated with a monophase fixe (MF) for 2 minutes. By clinical & statistical analysis ( P value < 0.05) we conclude that the electrical stimulation is effective as one method in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
