Amid the growing demand for multifunctional and environmentally benign materials, lead-free double perovskites have emerged as a strategically important development in advanced functional materials research. This study presents the synthesis of Ba2PrMnO6 (BPMO) double perovskite nanocrystals for the first time via a hydrothermal method, and a comprehensive evaluation has been conducted using the density functional theory (DFT) framework. Structural, thermodynamic, electronic, optical, and mechanical properties were investigated through X-ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy, FESEM/EDX, FTIR, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. XRD confirms a stable tetragonal I4/m phase with experimental lattice constants in excellent agreement with theory. UV-vis analysis reveals their semiconducting nature with a bandgap of 1.98 eV, consistent with DFT calculations, whereas electronic structure calculations show a combination of metallic and semiconducting behavior across spin channels. FESEM reveals nanoscale grains with an average particle size of ∼58 nm, while EDX confirms the elemental composition, purity and uniformity. FTIR identifies the presence of PrO6 and MnO6 octahedra in the sample. Optical spectra, dielectric response, and absorption features indicate the presence of strong orbital hybridization effects. Mechanical and thermodynamic stability demonstrates stable elastic behavior, phonon integrity, and predictable thermal trends, confirming the robustness of BPMO over a wide temperature range. A strong correlation between the lattice parameters, structural distortion, octahedral tilting, spin-polarized bandgap, and optical response underscores the potential of BPMO as a promising candidate for next-generation spintronic and optoelectronic applications. The multi-dentate Schiff base ligand (H2L), where H2L=2,2'-(((1,3,5,6)-1-(3-((l1-oxidaneyl)-l5-methyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)hepta-1,6-di ene-3,5-diylidene)bis(azaneylylidene))bis(3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoic acid), has been prepared from curcumin and L- Tyrosine amino acid. The synthesized Schiff base ligand (H2L) and the second ligand 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) are used to prepare the new complexes [Al(L)(phen)]Cl, K[Ag(L)(phen)] and [Pb(L)(phen)]. The synthesized compounds are characterized by magnetic susceptibility measurements, micro elemental analysis (C.H.N), mass spectrometry, molar conductance, FT-infrared, UV-visible, atomic absorption (AA), 13C-NMR, and 1H-NMR spectral studies. The characterization of the

One such approach is the deuteration technique: Deuteration is the process of substituting deuterium for hydrogen in a molecule. When compared to the drug molecule, its deuterated analogues may retain the features of the original molecule and, in some cases, improve its pharmacological activity, with fewer side effects and lower toxicity. Metronidazole is a commonly used antibiotic to treat anaerobic bacterial infections, protozoal and microaerophilic bacterial infections. Met

Three popular mode decomposition algorithms are included in this study: the Eigensystem Realization Algorithm with the Natural Excitation Technique (NExT-ERA) for the parametric algorithm, as well as the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and the Independent Component Analysis (ICA) for the non-parametric algorithms. A comprehensive parametric study is provided for (i) different response types, (ii) excitation types, (iii) system damping, and (iv) sensor spatial resolution to compare the mode shapes and modal coordinates of using a 10-DOF building model. The mode decomposition results are also compared using

Show MoreA novel series of mixed-ligand complexes of the type, [ML1(L2)3]Clx [M= Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(II),Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II), n = 2, 3], was synthesized using Schiff base (HL1) as main ligand, nicotinamide (L2) as secondary ligand, and the corresponding metal ions in 1:3:1 molar ratio. The main ligand, HL1 was prepared by the interaction of ampicillin drug and 4-chlorobenzophenone. The synthesized mixed ligand complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, FT-IR,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and TG/DTG studies. In the mixed-ligand complexes, the Schiff base ligand, HL1 showed coordination to the central metal ion in tridentate manner via azomethine nitrogen, β-lactam ring oxygen and deprotonated carboxylic oxygen atoms, whereas the sec

Show MoreThe current study was concerned to address these gaps in literature by identifying: first level and type of future visions among the next graduation student, second level and type of future visions among the sample according to gender (Male- Female), third level of the illegal immigration among the sample, fourth level of the illegal immigration according to gender (Male, Female), and finally the relationship between future visions and illegal immigration. To achieve the aims of the current study, the researchers created a questionnaire for the future visions. The psychometric properties (e.g. face validity, structure validity, and reliability) were tested. Base on the current sample, results showed that the questionnaire had sound psych
