This paper presents a stylistic analysis of two poems of well-known poets of the English literature, namely; E.E. Cummings and the Irish noble laureate Seamus Heaney.  The researcher's attempt here is to approach Cummings’s poem “maggie and milly and molly and may” and Heaney’s “A Kite for Aibhín” from the stylistics’ point of view.  The paper also analyzes the poems using the tools of linguistics with a view to make their meaning explicit.

The Aqra - Bekhme, Shiranish, Tanjero and Kolosh formations outcrop in the High Folded Zone, Northern Iraq in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah governorates. The formations have been studied at two selected geological sections (Bekhme Gorge and Zarda Bee). In this study, these formations are investigated based on both benthic and planktonic foraminifera. Depending on foraminifer’s investigation, three biozones have been recognized; two biozones are identified in the benthic foraminifera and the third one is identified in the planktonic foraminifera as follow:

1. Siderolites calcitropodes - Orbitoides apiculatus - Omphalocyclus macroporus Assemblage zone.
2. Loftusia morgani range zone.

The atomic properties have been studied for He-like ions (He atom, Li+, Be2+ and B3+ions). These properties included, the atomic form factor f(S), electron density at the nucleus , nuclear magnetic shielding constant and diamagnetic susceptibility ,which are very important in the study of physical properties of the atoms and ions. For these purpose two types of the wave functions applied are used, the Hartree-Fock (HF) waves function (uncorrelated) and the Configuration interaction (CI) wave function (correlated). This paper is an attempt to investigate and analyse some stylistic features in two selected, English and Arabic, war poems. These poems share the same theme.Both promote the principle of sacrificing one’s own life for the sake of homeland.  This paper limits itself to analyse, thecontent words, tenses, semantic grouping of vocabulary and foregrounding in the two poems. The areas of analysis show great similarities in distributing the general content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs). In the analysis of the semantic areas of each content word, these poems reveal some similarities and some differences in their frequency rates.
