The current study was conducted to find out the effect of zinc (Zn) on the liver tissue of adult male white mouse, Mus musculus at concentrations (50 and 100 mg/kg/day) and for (30) days.(30) mice were used, divided into three groups of (10) mice, represented by control group, group of (50) mg/kg/day and (100) mg/kg/day. Histopathological changes appeared in the liver of male mice treated with zinc in concentration (50 and 100 mg/kg/day) for 30 days, including deformation and damage to Glisson's capsule, epithelial separation of capsule, in addition to cellular changes represented by hypertrophy of hepatocytes, as seen a swelling necrosis, hypertrophy of nuclei, thickening and degeneration in some hepatocytes, as well as the observed scatter of hepatocytes, and the increasing size and number of Kupffer cells as well as the expansion of sinusoids, as seen hyperplasia of Bile duct cells.
: Cervical cancer representsone of the possibly preventable cancer. The study was designed to find the possible correlation of Tafazzin on the progression of cervical carcinoma. Two groups of paraffinized blocks were included. The study group of 30 cervical tumors as well as 15 biopsies of healthy cervical tissues. After sectioning on a positive charge, immunohistochemical application (IHC) was performed to detect Tafazzin expression. Nighnty percentage (27 out of 30) of the studies group showed positive overexpression as shown in with a significant association of the expression with cervical cancer with a significant association. Extraction and identification of parsley (Petroselinum sativum) seeds flavonoids (apigenin), as well as evaluation its anticancer efficacy was the main aim of the current study. Thin layer chromatography results clarified that apigenin is the major flavonoid in parsley seeds. The cytotoxic effect of apigenin in mammary adenocarcinoma (AMN3) bearing mice was manifested through significant (P ≤ 0.01) reduction in tumor volume and growth rate inhibition (90.8 %) after 24 days of oral administration at a dose of 300 mg/kg body weight.
