2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole [I] were prepared by the cyclization of thiosemecarbazide with carbon disulphide and anhydrous  sodium carbonate in ethanol as a solvent. The reaction of compound [I] with alkyl halides yielded 2- amino-5-thioalkyl-1,3,4- thiadiazole [II] and [III] . This research includes synthesis of new heterocyclic derivatives of N-benzyl-5-bromoisatin. New 1, 2, 4-triazole, oxazoline and thiazoline derivatives of [N-benzyl-5-bromo-3-(Ethyliminoacetate)-indole-2-one] (2) have been synthesized. The preparation process started by the reaction of 5-bromoisatin with sodium hydride in dimethylformamide (DMF) at 0°C, gave suspension of sodium salt of 5-bromoisatin and subsequent reaction with benzylchloride to give N-benzyl-5-bromoisatin (1). Compound (1) reacted with ethylglycinate (Schiff base) obtained the intermediate compound (2) which reacted with different reagents in two ways. Binuclear copper, nickel, cobalt, manganese and mercury complexes of the Schiff base H2L (C40H28N2O4) obtained by condensation of 2-benzoyl benzoic acid with benzidine.  The Schiff base and their complexes have been subjected to[ FT-IR, elemental analysis ,UV-Vis, 1H and 13C NMR ] spectral studies, molar conductivity, magnetic moment and HPLC measurements. All the complexes showed tetrahedral geometries with the general structure [M2(L)2].  Generality of the synthesized components offer antibacterial efficiency to (Staphylococcu saureus), (Escherichia coli),(Bacillus subtilis) and(Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

A mathematical model has been formulated to predict the influence of high outdoor air temperature on the performance of small scale air - conditioning system using R22 and alternative refrigerants R290, R407C, R410A. All refrigerants were investigated in the cooling mode operation. The mathematical model results have been validated with experimental data extracted from split type air conditioner of 2 TR capacity.
