The Impact of Social Media on Customer Behavior - Survey Research for Tourism Companies in Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The current research aims to diagnose the type and level of influence of social media, whose dimensions are represented by (attitudes towards social media marketing, knowledge and use of social media, influence on the Internet and social media, following up on social media) on customer behavior in its dimensions (attracting attention, raising Interest, desire creation, customer response), and the research sought to answer questions related to the research problem by testing the main hypotheses to explore correlations and influence between the two variables, and to achieve research hypothesis tests, the field study was used, as the research sample reached (135) individuals from the director and the assistant director And marketing personnel in tourism companies in Baghdad, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data and information and was prepared by the researcher after undergoing validity, stability and arbitration tests, as well as the use of observation and field presence of the researcher, and the data were analyzed using the statistical program (SPSS v.25, AMOS. v.23) In addition, a number of statistical methods have been used to process the data, represented by the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the coefficient of the difference, the correlation coefficient (Person), and the multiple linear regression equation, and the research showed significant results represented by a strong positive direct relationship between the two variables of the research. On the research variables, and the conclusion of the research was a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is the need for the companies researched to focus on marketing services through social media, and they must know the needs and desires of customers by studying and accurate information on what the customer wants, and the need for companies to communicate continuously with customers to maintain the achievement of a superior site Competitors.

Transient Behavior Analysis for Solar Energy Storage in PCM-CFM Material Using Equivalent Heat Capacity Method as Storage Model
...Show More Authors

A paraffin wax and copper foam matrix were used as a thermal energy storage material in the double passes air solar chimney (SC) collector to get ventilation effect through daytime and after sunset. Air SC collector was installed in the south wall of an insulated test room and tested with different working angles (30o, 45o and 60o). Different SC types were used; single pass, double passes flat plate collector and double pass thermal energy storage box collector (TESB). A computational model based on the finite volume method for transient tw dimensional domains was carried out to describe the heat transfer and storage in the thermal energy storage material of collector. Also, equivalent specific heat metho

Experimental Investigation of the Behavior of Self-Form Segmental Concrete Masonry Arches
...Show More Authors

This research aims to introduce a new technique-off-site and self-form segmental concrete masonry arches fabrication, without the need of construction formwork or centering. The innovative construction method in the current study encompasses two construction materials forms the self-form masonry arches, wedge-shape plain concrete voussoirs, and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites. The employment of CFRP fabrics was for two main reasons: bonding the voussoirs and forming the masonry arches. In addition, CFRP proved to be efficient for strengthening the extrados of the arch rings under service loadings. An experimental test was conducted on four sophisticated masonry arch specimens. The research parameters were the Keystone thic

Large Angle Bending Behavior of Curved Members Using The Method of Characteristics
...Show More Authors

This paper deals with the nonlinear large-angle bending dynamic analysis of curved beams which investigated by modeling wave’s transmission along curved members. The approach depends on the wave propagation in one-dimensional structural element using the method of characteristics. The method of characteristics (MOC) is found to be a suitable method for idealizing the wave propagation inside structural systems. Timoshenko’s beam theory, which includes transverse shear deformation and rotary inertia effects, is adopted in the analysis. Only geometrical non-linearity is considered in this study and the material is assumed to be linearly elastic. Different boundary conditions and loading cases are examined.

Characteristics of probing electrons behavior inside the chamber of scanning electron microscope
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The electron mirror phenomenon has been explored to describe the behavior of a probing electron trajectory inside the chamber of scanning electron microscope (SEM). This investigation has been carried out by means of the modulated mirror plot curve technique. This method is based on expanding sample potential to a multipolar form to detect the actual distribution of the trapped charges. Actually an experimental result is used to guiding results of this work toward the accurate side. Results have shown that the influence of each type of multipolar arrangement (monopole, dipole, quadruple, octopole … etc.) mainly depends on the driving potential.

The use of IT infrastructure and its impact on the performance of human resources in public universities: A field study at the University of Diyala
...Show More Authors

This study aims to identify the impact of using the infrastructure of the Information Technology (IT) on the performance of human resources in the public universities. This process is done by doing research in the size, quality, and efficiency of the performance, also speed of achievement and simplification of procedures. Diyala University was chosen for the diagnosis through the opinions and attitudes of its employees. Consequently, suggestions that contribute to improve the performance of the employees and thus its overall performance are obtained. Another objective of this study is identifying the human resources which are currently used in academic institutions and educational services systems because the significant role of th

The sunrise, sunset, and day length times for Baghdad (Latitude =33.34º N, Longitude =44.43º E) were calculated with high accuracy on a daily basis during 2019. The results showed that the earliest time of sunrise in Baghdad was at 4h: 53m from 5 Jun. to 20 Jun while the latest was at 7h: 07m from 5 Jan. to 11 Jan. The earliest time of sunset in Baghdad was at16 h: 55m from 30 Nov. to 10 Dec. whereas the latest was at 19h: 16m from 25 Jun. to 5 Jul. The minimum period of day length in Baghdad was 9h: 57m) in 17 Dec. whereas the maximum period was 14h: 22m) in 20 Jun. Day length was calculated and compared among regions of different latitudes(0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 north).
