Chronic kidney Failure, a progressive disease, includes both medical and biochemical features that damage kidneys and decrease their abilities to work effectively, this disease is characterized by a chronic disorders to both the innate and adaptive immune systems, generate a complex and not fully understood immune dysfunction. In the present study, (30) men suffering from chronic kidney failure with age in range (40-55) year and (30) healthy men within the same range of age were enrolled in this study. The aim of this study is to highlight the role of immunological aspect (IL-35), hormonal aspects (PTH), some functional proteins and immunological electrolytes in sera of chronic kidney failure (CKF) patients. Biochemical parameters were determined in the sera of both patients and (healthy) control group. Patients enrolled in this study were newly diagnosed, they have not taken any treatment related to any chronic disease. Blood samples were collected and biochemical parameters were measured in Al- Karama teaching hospital in Baghdad (except IL-35 which was determined in the private Al-Ghazalia Laboratory) from April to November 2015. Results have reported that IL-35 level was highly significant increase in sera of chronic kidney failure patients (35.035± 0.025) pg/mL compared with healthy group (23.331±0.031) pg/mL. As well, PTH level was highly significant increased in patients group (235.032±3.841) pg/ml compared with healthy control group (49.96±0.308) pg/mL. Hemoglobin level was highly significant decreased ( 9.696±0.056) g/L in patients with control group (15.332±0.067) g/dL. Determination of IL-35, PTH, Ferritin and Other biochemical. Parameters in sera of Iraqi Men with chronic kidney failure Rasha Zuhair Jasim and Samira Muajed Yaseen 58 Vol: 13 No:2 , April 2017 DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.24237/djps.1302.151B P-ISSN: 2222-8373 E-ISSN: 2518-9255 Also, ferritin level was highly significant decreased in chronic kidney failure patients (164.0.68±7.818) ng/mL compared with control group (313.56±1.874) ng/mL. Moreover, albumin level was highly significant decreased (3.00±0.020) g/dL in patients compared with control group (4.928±0.039)g/dL. Bicarbonate level was highly significant decreased (17.412±0.117) mmol/L in patients compared with control group (25.044±0.072) mmol/L, sodium level was non significantly increased in patients (138.65±0.288) meq/L compared with control group (135.84±0.144) meq/L, potassium level was highly significant increased in patients group (5.420±0.0186) meq/L compared with healthy control group (4.700±0.113)meq/L, calcium level was highly significant decreased in patients (7.464±0.054) mmol/L compared with control group (9.628±0.614) mmol/L, phosphate level was significantly increased in patients (4.891±0.016) mg/dL compared with control group (4.552±0.014) mg/dL. The present study concludes that IL-35 is a strong biochemical marker for Iraqi men with CKF. Moreover, this study indicated the positive relationship between (PTH, Na+ , K+ , PO4 2- ) and chronic kidney failure, and the negative relationship between (Ferritin, albumin, hemoglobin, HCO3 - ) and chronic kidney failure in Iraq.
The aim of this research is to determine the uranium concentration and its distribution in many sheep organs that live in different region of Iraq. The uranium concentration in tissue samples is measured by using fission tracks registration in CR-39 detector that caused by the bombardment of U235 with thermal neutrons from (241Am-Be) neutron source of thermal flux (5x 103 n.cm-2. s-1). The results show that the maximum uranium concentration in bronchiole tissues of the animals was found in Karbala city (3.706ppm) while the minimum concentration (0.127 ppm) was found in Al-Faluja city, also the same result in lung tissue the maximum value was found in Karbala city (2.313ppm) and the minimum concentration in Al Fluja (0.082). changes and resulted in the production of acute renal
failure (ARF) in female Albino-Wister rats, therefore,
adenosine level increases highly in ARF.
Objective: This experiment was designed to
investigate the effect of the adenosine antagonist
aminophylline and the adenosine agonist indomethacin on glycerol-induced ARF.
Method: Glycerol induced ARF was produced by a
single dose (10ml/kg, 50%v/v with distilled water i.m)
in rats, which were restricted to drinking water.
Aminophylline was used in our study in a dose of
25mg/kg, i.p) while the dose of indomethacin was
10mg/kg, i.p), assessment of renal function was done
by measuring blood urea

The issue of the other in the graphic design and specifically the advertising constitutes a cognitive study of the structure of the intellectual expansion in the cognitive and intellectual creative systems because of the implicit and declared embodiment it provides within the mechanisms of reading in the advertising design that appeared according to the other and through the embodiment of the textualism, the difference and the binary opposites is nothing but a reaction to the design thought and what constitutes of the manifestations of the other in advertising design. Based on the above, we review this study (Manifestations of the Other in Graphic Design) to clarify the topic through four chapters. The first chapter included the research

The reported prevalence of HPS in cirrhotic patients varies between 5% -17.5%.Objective : To estimate the prevalence of hepatopulmonary syndrome among patients with chronic liver disease and portal hypertension and to study the correlation between HPS and the severity of liver disease.Patients and methods : Thirty patients were studied for the presence of HPS using transthoracic contrast echocardiography for detection of pulmonary vasodilatation. Arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2) was determined in erect and supine position using a pulse oximeter , (SaO2 ≤ 92 % in supine position and/or a d

Background: Propolis has received great interest because of its wide range antimicrobial activity. Propolis also called (bee glue) due to its collection by (Apismellifera) honeybees from various plants resinous substance. The aim of this study was to determine the antibacterial effect of propolis extracts (aqueous and alcoholic) on anaerobic periodontal pathogen namely Aggregatibacteractinomycetemcomitans. Materials and Methods: Strains of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans wasisolated from pockets of systemically healthy patients aged between 35-55 years old suffering from chronic periodontitis with pocket depths of 5-6 mm, the bacteria cultured on special blood Agar plates solid media. Propolis was extracted by using water and alcohol.

This study highlights the evaluation of the Dectin-1 receptor and cytokine IL-37 in the serum of 80 patients who had miscarried in the first trimester and were infected with toxoplasmosis, as well as 40 pregnant women in the first trimester who had a successful pregnancy (control groups). The serum was first screened for the T. gondii IgM and IgG antibodies by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and then the serum levels of IL-37 and Dectin-1 were determined. The results showed that the serum level of Dectin-1 was significantly increased in anti-

Two groups of chronic hepatitis B and C virus patients were divided into Pre-treated patients (25 CHB patients with positive HBs Ag for more than 6 months and 40 CHC patients), and post-treated patients [12 CHB patients (4, 6, and 2 were treated with lamivudine, IFN-? and combination of LMV + IFN-? respectively), and 27 patients for CHC (3, 13 and 11 patients were treated with Ribavirin, IFN-? and combination therapy (RBV+ IFN-?) respectively].These patients were followed up for 6 months. By using ELISA technique, levels of IL-6, IL-10, IFN-? and TNF-? were measured in vivo and in vitro (supernatant of PBMCs stimulated with PHA) and compared with healthy control.
