Different frequency distributions models were fitted to the monthly data of raw water Turbidity at water treatment plants (WTPs) along Tigris River in Baghdad. Eight water treatment plants in Baghdad were selected, with raw water turbidity data for the period (2008-2014). The frequency distribution models used in this study are the Normal, Log-normal, Weibull, Exponential and two parameters Gamma type. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to evaluate the goodness of fit.  The data for years (2008-2011) were used for building the models. The best fitted distributions were Log-Normal (LN) for Al-Karkh, Al-Wathbah, Al-Qadisiya, Al-Dawrah and, Al-Rashid WTPs. Gamma distribution fitted well for East Tigris and Al-Karamah

This work represents implementation and investigation of optical coherent communication system between two computers. A single mode optical fiber is selected as transmission medium. This paper introduces a relationship between the independence of polynomials associated with the links of the network, and the Jacobian determinant of these polynomials. Also, it presents a way to simplify a given communication network through an algorithm that splits the network into subnets and reintegrates them into a network that is a general representation or model of the studied network. This model is also represented through a combination of polynomial equations and uses Groebner bases to reach a new simplified network equivalent to the given network, which may make studying the ability to solve the problem of network coding less expensive and much easier.

In this work the parameters of plasma (electron temperature Te,
electron density ne, electron velocity and ion velocity) have been
studied by using the spectrometer that collect the spectrum of
plasma. Two cathodes were used (Si:Si) P-type and deposited on
glass. In this research argon gas has been used at various values of
pressures (0.5, 0.4, 0.3, and 0.2 torr) with constant deposition time
4 hrs. The results of electron temperature were (31596.19, 31099.77,
26020.14 and 25372.64) kelvin, and electron density (7.60*1016,
