Accurate rock typing is essential for reservoir characterization because heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs exhibit complex pore systems that weaken conventional porosity- permeability relationships. This study presents a comprehensive comparative evaluation of conventional and machine learning-based rock typing techniques for the Jeribe-Euphrates carbonate reservoir in the Fauqi Oil Field, southern Iraq. Unlike previous studies that focused on a single classification approach, this work systematically compares Hydraulic Flow Units, Discrete Rock Types, the Winland (R35) method, Lorenz curve analysis, Accumulated Correlation analysis, and machine learning clustering techniques using a unified dataset. The analysis was conducted on 179 core samples with porosity and permeability measurements. Hydraulic Flow Units, Discrete Rock Types, Winland, Lorenz, and Accumulated Correlation methods were applied to classify reservoir rocks, whereas K-means and Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithms were used to evaluate machine learning-based rock typing. The performance of each method was quantitatively assessed using regression equations, coefficients of determination (R2), variance, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation. The results indicate a weak overall porosity-permeability relationship (R2=0.2675), confirming the pronounced heterogeneity of the studied reservoir. Among all evaluated approaches, the HFU method provided the most consistent and reliable rock classification, identifying four hydraulic flow units with the lowest statistical variability (variance = 0.017423) and the most reliable reservoir-quality characterization. Although the DRT and machine learning approaches achieved high R2 values for some individual classes, their overall classifications exhibited greater variability and lower consistency. Incorporating the Winland pore throat radius (R35) improved clustering performance but did not outperform the Hydraulic Flow Units approach. Overall, the results demonstrate that the Hydraulic Flow Units method is the most suitable approach for defining hydraulic flow units in heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs, providing a reliable framework for reservoir characterization, static geological modeling, and flow unit identification.
Extreme conditions will cause the water level of high fill canal segment to change suddenly, which will affect the velocity and pore pressure of the slope. A 9 km irrigation earth canal in the city of Alsyahy, 15 km away from Al-Hilla city, and branching off from the left side of Shatt Al-Hilla at 57 km, was studied. The aim of this work is to study and analyze the effect of rationing system on the Birmana earthen canal during rapid drawdown case. Finite element modeling with Geo-Studio software was used in the present study to analyze the combined seepage and slope stability for three cycles. The resulting minimum safety factor obtained from the analysis using the saturated and

Due to the momentum of winning in the streets of the city of Baghdad as a result of the large number of checkpoints so felt researcher to conduct a field visit to find out the main reasons that led to this congestion and to find practical solutions to mitigate wastage winning the arrival time citizen to where you want the least possible time.
This research aims to overcome the difficulties experienced by citizens to reach their places of work and reduce waste at the time of service and waiting time as well as reduce the cost of waiting.

This field represents a subsurface anticline with a northwest to southeast direction axis within the Mesopotamian Zone. Eight types of microfacies were recognized in the succession of the Mauddud and Shu’aiba formations. These microfacies represent shallow open marine, restricted and semi-restricted, reef - back reef, deep open marine and basinal depositional environments. While Nahr Umr Formation includes two successions, the first is the upp

The organization of sporting activities at the local and international levels requires a lot of money, which has increased interest in marketing in the sports field, as it is one of the modern topics that represent the basic knowledge needed by the sports marketer and which represents one of the basic concepts to enhance the benefits and returns of sports clubs. The research problem was the weak awareness of the members of the administrative body of Iraqi sports clubs of the role of sports marketing in the dimensions of competitive superiority and not exploiting them in the optimal way that enables clubs to achieve competitive superiority.
