Flexible joint robot (FJR) manipulators can offer many attractive features over rigid manipulators, including light weight, safe operation, and high power efficiency. However, the tracking control of the FJR is challenging due to its inherent problems, such as underactuation, coupling, nonlinearities, uncertainties, and unknown external disturbances. In this article, a terminal sliding mode control (TSMC) is proposed for the FJR system to guarantee the finite-time convergence of the systems output, and to achieve the total robustness against the lumped disturbance and estimation error. By using two coordinate transformations, the FJR dynamics is turned into a canonical form. A cascaded finite-time sliding mode observer (CFTSMO) is constructed to estimate states and lumped disturbance in a finite time based on two measurable states, which not only attenuates the measurement noise but also reduces the peaking phenomenon. The closed-loop stability and the finite-time convergence are rigorously proved by using Lyapunov theorem. The upper bound of the finite convergence time is derived for the reaching and sliding phase. Comparative study is conducted experimentally in real time on the FJR manipulator to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
The issue of the other in the graphic design and specifically the advertising constitutes a cognitive study of the structure of the intellectual expansion in the cognitive and intellectual creative systems because of the implicit and declared embodiment it provides within the mechanisms of reading in the advertising design that appeared according to the other and through the embodiment of the textualism, the difference and the binary opposites is nothing but a reaction to the design thought and what constitutes of the manifestations of the other in advertising design. Based on the above, we review this study (Manifestations of the Other in Graphic Design) to clarify the topic through four chapters. The first chapter included the research

Show MoreOrthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is an efficient multi-carrier technique. The core operation in the OFDM systems is the FFT/IFFT unit that requires a large amount of hardware resources and processing delay. The developments in implementation techniques likes Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technologies have made OFDM a feasible option. The goal of this paper is to design and implement an OFDM transmitter based on Altera FPGA using Quartus software. The proposed transmitter is carried out to simplify the Fourier transform calculation by using decoder instead of multipliers. After programming ALTERA DE2 FPGA kit with implemented project, several practical tests have been done starting from monitoring all the results of

Show MoreSince his first existence on earth, human had formed a connecting link for a regressive, kinetic and developed relationship that comes from a semi-complicated interaction between natural environment and constructed environment, and this resulted in the survival of human and his existence continuance. Constructed environment enabled human to survive the natural environment inconstancies and enemies as predators, also it helped him to feel safe, comfortable and to practice his everyday life activities...etc. This alternative interaction resulted in creating a civilized legacy for a group of landmarks that tell about the development of this relationship by elemental output that reached us either by documents and manuscripts or as an existed

The thickness design of RCC pavements is based on keeping the flexural stresses and fatigue damage in the pavement caused by wheel loads within allowable limits. As in all jointed concrete pavements, there is a greater effect from loads placed along edges and less at interior locations in the pavement. Joints in RCC pavement are clearly critical areas and form weak points. RCC is typically constructed with saw-cut joints to prevent random cracking, improve the appearance of the pavement surface, and maintain the highest possible load transfer across the joints. The performance of valve depends on the magnetic circuit design. Present study deals with a new design of MR valve. A mathematical model for the MR valve is developed and the simulation is carried out to evaluate the newly developed MR valve. The design of the magnetic circuit is accomplished by magnetic finite element software such as Finite Element Method Magnetic (FEMMR). The model dimensions of MR valve, material properties are taken into account. The results of analysis are presented in terms of magnetic strength H and magnetic flux density B. The simulation results based on the proposed model indicate that the ef

Show MoreThe digital revolution had greatly affected the methods through which we communicate, starting from the basic concepts of the internet technology and the web content in addition to the important issues that concern the culture of the digital media, the internet governance and the variation in the digital age in general and the graphic and internal design in particular.
This research addresses an important topic that goes along with the scientific development in the field of the digital design, especially in the internal and graphic designs. This study consists of two sections: the first includes the problem of the study and the need for it. Starting from the problem of the research, there is no clear perception of the formal characte
