This research aims to removes dyes from waste water by adsorption using banana peels. The conduct experiment done by banana powder and banana gel to compare between them and find out which one is the most efficient in adsorption. Studying the effects different factors on adsorption material and calculate the best removal efficiency to get rid of the methylene blue dye (MB).

The catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) of phenol has been studied in a trickle bed reactor

using  active  carbon  prepared  from  date  stones  as  catalyst  by  ferric  and  zinc  chloride activation (FAC and ZAC). The activated carbons were characterized by measuring their surface area and adsorption capacity besides conventional properties, and then checked for CWAO using a trickle bed reactor operating at different conditions (i.e. pH, gas flow rate, LHSV, temperature and oxygen partial pressure). The present study aims to detect CTX-M-type ESBL from Escherichia coli clinical isolates and to analyze their antibotic susceptibility patterns. One hundred of E. coli isolates were collected from different clinical samples from a tertiary hospital. ESBL positivity was determined by the disk diffusion method. PCR used for amplification of CTX-M-type ESBL produced by E. coli. Out of 100 E. coli isolates, twenty-four isolates (24%) were ESBL-producers. E. coli isolated from pus was the most frequent clinical specimen that produced ESBL (41.66%) followed by urine (34.21%), respiratory (22.23%), and blood (19.05%).  After PCR amplification of these 24 isolates, 10 (41.66%) isolates were found to possess CTX-M genes. Discriminant between groups is one of the common procedures because of its ability to analyze many practical phenomena, and there are several methods can be used for this purpose, such as linear and quadratic discriminant functions. recently, neural networks is used as a tool to distinguish between groups.

In this paper the simulation is used to compare neural networks and classical method for classify observations to group that is belong to, in case of some variables that don’t follow the normal distribution. we use the proportion of number of misclassification observations to the all observations as a criterion of comparison.  

New speaker identification test’s feature, extracted from the differentiated form of the wave file, is presented. Differentiation operation is performed by an operator similar to the Laplacian operator. From the differentiated record’s, two parametric measures have been extracted and used as identifiers for the speaker; i.e. mean-value and number of zero-crossing points.
