A new Schiff bases ligand 4- ((2-hyolroxy phenylimino) methyl) -2, 6-dimethoxyphenol derived from condensation of 2- amino phenol with 4-hydroxy -3, 5-dimethoxy benzaldehyde have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopy, spectra, Mass spectrum and elemental microanalysis (C.H.N). Metal Complexes with ions have been also synthesized and characterized spectroscopic methods spectroscopy, flame atomic absorption, molar conductivity measurements and magnetic susceptibility. These studies indicate that the moler ratio for the complexes. The complexes showed characteristics octahedral geometry with the (O,N) ligand coordinated in bidentate mode while with showed square planer. The enzyme activity of the ligand and its metal complexes with esterase (AST) have also been studied . the study of enzyme activity indicates that the ligand its metal complexes revealed different inhibition behaviors. The synthesized ligands and their metal complexes have been tested against one type of fungi (candida albicans).
Abstract: Mixed ligand Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu (II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) complexes with (TMAP) Schiff base ligand and (8HQ) have been composition and analyzed. Diagnosis by, melting point, solubility, Electronic, mass and IR-spectroscopic studies, conductivity elemental, thermoanalytical analysis displayed the forming of mononuclear complexes. Spectral studies results suggest an octahedral system or the metal (II) mixed complexes. The detainments of molar conductance of the mixed complexes in DMF coincide to electrolytic nature of the mixed complexes, consequently, these complexes could be subedited as [M(TMAP)(8Q)(H2O)]nX.yH2O (M=Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes(where n = 1, y = 0 ); [M(TMAP)(8Q)(H2O)]nX.yH2O (M = (where n = 1, y = 1 for Ni(

Fasting triglycerides-glucose index (TyG index) has been recommended as a useful marker to predict metabolic syndrome. Our study aimed to introduce gender-specific cut-off values of triglycerides- glucose index for diagnosing metabolic syndrome associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The data were collected from Baghdad hospitals between May - December 2019. The number of eligible participants was 424. National cholesterol education program, Adult Treatment Panel III criteria were used to define metabolic syndrome. Measurement of fasting blood glucose, lipid pro

These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, melting point, conductivity, percentage metal, UV–Vis, FT-IR, and magnetic moment measurements. The molar conductance indicates that all the metal complexes in DMSO are nonelectrolytic. phthalic acid (phtha), and 1,10-Phenanthroline (phen), behaved as bidentate, coordinating to the metal ion through their two oxygen and two pyridinyl nitrogen atoms respectively, as corroborated by. Electronic spectra, FTIR, spectroscopy amusement indicated that all the metal complexes ad

In this study, a new series of 2-thiohydantoin derivatives were prepared through the reaction of different derivatives of maleimide (1c-4c) with isothiocyanate derivatives. The prepared compounds were diagnosed using FT-IR,1H-NMR ,13C-NMR, Mass spectra. The prepared series compounds has been studied against prostate cancer cells. The MTT assay was used to determine the activity of the prepared compounds against prostate cancer cells. The da

The prepared AlO-AM and AlO-AP were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared, differential scanning calorimetry , thermogravemetric analyzer and particle size distribution. Adsorption equilibrium isotherms, adsorption kinetics and thermodynamic studies of the batch adsorption process were used to examine the fundamental adsorption properties of phenol (P) and p-chlorophenol (PCP). The experimental equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by three widely used two-parameters Langmuir, Freundlich and DubininRadushkevich isotherms. The optimum pH for staphylolysin A activity was found to be 8 which gives higher activity reaches 150 unit/ml, and for enzyme stability was 7.5-8.5 in which the enzyme nearly retained its full activity, while it was 9.5 for staphylolysin D that gives higher activity of 16 unit/ml,and 8.5-9.5 for enzyme stability in which the enzyme nearly retained its full activity, Maximum activity of two enzymes was obtained at 40C in which the specific activity for st
