Hybrid Controller for a Single Flexible Link Manipulator

In this study, the dynamic modeling and step input tracking control of single flexible link is studied. The Lagrange-assumed modes approach is applied to get the dynamic model of a planner single link manipulator. A Step input tracking controller is suggested by utilizing the hybrid controller approach to overcome the problem of vibration of tip position through motion which is a characteristic of the flexible link system. The first controller is a modified version of the proportional-derivative (PD) rigid controller to track the hub position while sliding mode (SM) control is used for vibration damping. Also, a second controller (a fuzzy logic based proportional-integral plus derivative (PI+D) control scheme) is developed for both vibra

Review on Hybrid Swarm Algorithms for Feature Selection

Feature selection represents one of the critical processes in machine learning (ML). The fundamental aim of the problem of feature selection is to maintain performance accuracy while reducing the dimension of feature selection. Different approaches were created for classifying the datasets. In a range of optimization problems, swarming techniques produced better outcomes. At the same time, hybrid algorithms have gotten a lot of attention recently when it comes to solving optimization problems. As a result, this study provides a thorough assessment of the literature on feature selection problems using hybrid swarm algorithms that have been developed over time (2018-2021). Lastly, when compared with current feature selection procedu

Proposed Hybrid Sparse Adaptive Algorithms for System Identification

Abstract

For sparse system identification, recent suggested algorithms are  -norm Least Mean Square (  -LMS), Zero-Attracting LMS (ZA-LMS), Reweighted Zero-Attracting LMS (RZA-LMS), and p-norm LMS (p-LMS) algorithms, that have modified the cost function of the conventional LMS algorithm by adding a constraint of coefficients sparsity. And so, the proposed algorithms are named  -ZA-LMS,

A Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Model for Detecting Keratoconus

Machine learning models have recently provided great promise in diagnosis of several ophthalmic disorders, including keratoconus (KCN). Keratoconus, a noninflammatory ectatic corneal disorder characterized by progressive cornea thinning, is challenging to detect as signs may be subtle. Several machine learning models have been proposed to detect KCN, however most of the models are supervised and thus require large well-annotated data. This paper proposes a new unsupervised model to detect KCN, based on adapted flower pollination algorithm (FPA) and the k-means algorithm. We will evaluate the proposed models using corneal data collected from 5430 eyes at different stages of KCN severity (1520 healthy, 331 KCN1, 1319 KCN2, 1699 KCN3 a

A hybrid conceptual model for BIM in FM
Purpose

The purpose of this paper is to develop a hybrid conceptual model for building information modelling (BIM) adoption in facilities management (FM) through the integration of the technology task fit (TTF) and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) theories. The study also aims to identify the influence factors of BIM adoption and usage in FM and identify gaps in the existing literature and to provide a holistic picture of recent research in technology acceptance and adoption in the construction industry and FM sector.

Multiple Mixing Ratios of Gamma Rays

The -mixing of  - transition in Er 168 populated in  Er(n,n ) Er 168 168  reaction is calculated in the present work by using a2- ratio method. This method has used in previou studies [4, 5, 6, 7] in case that the second transition is pure or for that transition which can be considered as pure only, but in one work we applied this method for two cases, in the first one for pure transition and in the 2nd one for non pure transitions. We take into accunt the experimental a2- coefficient for previous works and -values for one transition only [1]. The results obtained are, in general, in agood agreement within associated errors, with those reported previously [1], the discrepancies that occur are due to in

Some Generalizations of Semisimple Gamma Rings

In this paper we introduce and study the concepts of semisimple gamma modules , regular gamma modules and fully idempotent gamma modules as a generalization of semisimple ring. An module is called fully idempotent (semisimple , regular) if for all submodule of (every submodule is a direct summand, for each , there exists and such that . We study some properties and relationships between them.

On Large-Small submodule and Large-Hollow module
Abstract<p>The goal of this research is to introduce the concepts of Large-small submodule and Large-hollow module and some properties of them are considered, such that a proper submodule N of an R-module M is said to be Large-small submodule, if N + K = M where K be a submodule of M, then K is essential submodule of M ( K ≤e M ). An R-module M is called Large-hollow module if every proper submodule of M is Large-small submodule in M.</p>
