In the present work, different thicknesses of CdS film were prepared by chemical bath deposition. Z-Scan technique was used to study the nonlinear refractive index and nonlinear absorption coefficients. Linear optical testing were done such as transmission test, and thickness of films were done by the interference fringes (Michelson interferometer). Z-scan experiment was performed at 650nm using CW diode laser and at 532nm wavelength. The results show the effect of self-focusing and defocusing that corresponds with nonlinear refraction n2. The effect of two-photon absorption was also studied, which correspond to the nonlinear absorption coefficient B.

The effect of different doping ratio (0.3, 0.5, and 0.7) with thickness in the range 300nmand annealed at different temp.(Ta=RT, 473, 573, 673) K on the electrical conductivity and hall effect measurements of AgInTe2thin film have and been investigated AgAlxIn(1-x) Te2 (AAIT) at RT, using thermal evaporation technique all the films were prepared on glass substrates from the alloy of the compound. Electrical conductivity (σ), the activation energies (Ea1, Ea2), Hall mobility and the carrier concentration are investigated as a function of doping. Char formation is subdivided into three lithological types according to the percentage of detrital quartz and calcite (micrite and sparite), through the petrographic study of 13 thin sections collected from a section at Wadi Al-Ratgha (west of Al-Qaim, Iraq Western Desert).
