In an intensive study of the various species of the Euglenophyceae under different environmental conditions, the algal samples were collected monthly in twelve springs and six related streams from September 2019 to August 2020 within Shaglawa district-Erbil Province in virgin areas for phycolimnological study. Giardia lamblia parasite was isolated from the diarrhea samples of patients with Giardiasis dysentery and was developed in HSP media, four mice groups have been used to find in vivo efficacy of two concentrations (128,256) mg/ml of chlorophorm extracts from Cladophora glomerata algae against Giardia lamblia parasite  as compared with (Flagyl) by measuring several biochemical markers as ( GPT and GOT) enzymes ,sodium ,potassium and iron concentration as well as counting the number of parasitic cysts in each mice groups. Pseudomonas aerogenosa lipopolysaccharidewas extracted by hot phenol method and purified by gel filtration method using the Sephadex G-200 gel and detected by the limulus amebocyt lysate (EU/ml 0.03)(Wako Chemicals USA, Inc.). The inhibitory effect of partially purified LPS on Candida glabrata yeast was studied in a microdilution method. This study found that LPS has an inhibitory effect on Candida glabrata with the lower concentrations. The inhibitory effect of LPS which treated with heating was studied under boiling and wet heat effect. The toxicity of LPS on Candida glabrata was not affected when treated with heating LPS and the results were similar to those found in untreated LPS

The current study included the separation of three alkaloid compounds from Anastatica Hierochuntica and studied the effect of the these compounds on cancerous cells , specifically liver cancer it was found that compound number one is the most influential or inhibiting at 50 percent followed by compound number three when using concentration of 400 μg/mL.

It is well known that petroleum refineries are considered the largest generator of oily sludge which may cause serious threats to the environment if disposed of without treatment. Throughout the present research, it can be said that a hybrid process including ultrasonic treatment coupled with froth floatation has been shown as a green efficient treatment of oily sludge waste from the bottom of crude oil tanks in Al-Daura refinery and able to get high yield of base oil recovery which is 65% at the optimum operating conditions (treatment time = 30 min, ultrasonic wave amplitude = 60 micron, and (solvent: oily sludge) ratio = 4).
