BACKGROUND: Clavicle fractures are common injuries in young active individuals, the mid third of the clavicle is most commonly fractured part(80% of clavicle fracture) OBJECTIVE: To compare the outcomes of operative and non operative management of displaced and or comminuted closed fracture of the mid third of clavicle in young adults PATIENTS AND METHODS: This prospective observational study of 24 patients of fracture of the mid third of the clavicle was conducted in Alkindy teaching hospital from July 2015 to January 2017 and divided into two groups; one managed by operative treatment with plate and screws and the other by non operative sling immobilization after taking the consent and the patients were seen at 2, 4, 6 weeks,3, 6, and 9 months RESULTS: The mean time of functional recovery in the operative group was 3.75 weeks while in the non operative group was 8.09(P value=0.005) which is highly significant, the mean time of fracture healing(radiological union) in the operative group was 14.25 while in the non operative group was 28.72 with P value 0.005 which is statistically highly significant, there was no significant differences between the two groups in the range of movements although the adduction was better in the operative group but not significant P value=0.120, the DASH score was 11.25, 22.25 in the operative and non operative group respectively which is highly significant P value=0.005. CONCLUSION: Operative fixation of the clavicle results in improvement in the functional outcome, shorter time of union, lower complication rate in 9 month follow up

In this paper, a method for data encryption was proposed using two secret keys, where the first one is a matrix of XOR's and NOT's gates (XN key), whereas the second key is a binary matrix (KEYB) key. XN and KEYB are (m*n) matrices where m is equal to n. Furthermore this paper proposed a strategy to generate secret keys (KEYBs) using the concept of the LFSR method (Linear Feedback Shift Registers) depending on a secret start point (third secret key s-key). The proposed method will be named as X.K.N. (X.K.N) is a type of symmetric encryption and it will deal with the data as a set of blocks in its preprocessing and then encrypt the binary data in a case of stream cipher.

This paper aims to study a mathematical model showing the effects of mass transfer on MHD oscillatory flow for Carreau fluid through an inclined porous channel under the influence of temperature and concentration at a slant angle on the centre of the flow with the effect of gravity. We discussed the effects of several parameters that are effective on fluid movement by analyzing the graphs obtained after we reached the momentum equation solution using the perturbation series method and the MATHEMATICA program to find the numerical results and illustrations. The current study investigated the stability and the extraction efficiency of emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) for Abamectin pesticide removal from aqueous solution. The stability was investigated in terms of droplet emulsion size distribution and emulsion breakage percent. Two models have been compared; one of the models gave 16dB gain, and the other gave 23dB when using an input power signal (-15dBm). The PCB consumes 2.4W of power and has a physical dimension of 11 x 4 cm.
