Bioavailability is the objective for an optimum formulation. The target of the analysis is to maximize both the fluidity and disintegration profile of class II weakly compounds that are water-soluble. Anti-dyslipidemia drug rosuvastatin calcium (RC) (bioavailability 20%) through formulating as nanofibers (NFs) using electrospinning (ES) technology. Twenty formulas were prepared, and different polymers and polymer combinations with various concentrations were used such as polyethylene oxide (PEO) polyvinyl pyrrolidine (PVPK-30), and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). Three distinct groups of maximum parameters, including polymeric solution, electrospinning method, and ambient parameter, are capable of influencing the creation along with the shape of those ultimate NFs. The prepared formulas of rosuvastatin calcium nanofibers (RC-NFs) were evaluated for nanofibers diameter, dissolution profiles, free standing microscopy with electrons and fourier transformation infrared (FTIR)spectroscopy are also available. As a consequence, the velocity of dissolution increases as the particle’s surrounding area increases because of the its small size decrease to the nano level. The optimum ES parameters of polymeric solution (polymer type, concentration, combination, and effect of solvent type), ES process (injection flow rate, voltage, needle gauge, collector round per minute, needle to collector distance and collector type) and ambient parameter are tested and determined. Results show that four selected formulas of NFs are (F12, F14, F15 and F19) with an average diameter of (95, 120, 100 and 80 nm) respectively. The best ultrafine, smooth and beadless NFs is (F19) determined the fact that the narrower the circumference of the RC-NFs, the quicker its breakdown and the shorter the period of this medicinal component’s liberation.
Background: Calcium hydroxide and calcium-silicate materials used as direct pulp capping materials. The aims of this in vitro study is to compare among these materials in, the calcium ion release and pH change in soaking water after immersion of materials’ specimens in deionized water. Also Solubility and water sorption of materials’ specimens measured after soaking time. Calcium-silicate materials used were Biodentine, TheraCal and MTA Plus. Materials and methods: Four materials used in this study; Urbical lining (as control group), Biodentine, TheraCal and MTA Plus. Ten discs fabricated from each tested material, by using plastic moulds of 9 mm diameter and 1 mm thickness. Each specimen was immersed in 10 ml of d

For a huge and important productive reservoir such as Mishrif formation, the key factors for understanding its production performance and to introduce different production scenarios for future planes are its petrophysical properties. These properties may obtain from different sources such as experimental measurements which are a highly costed methods and well logs data. However, well log data cannot be used to find accurate estimation of such properties without an integrated sedimentological analysis. This research focus on petrophysical evaluation of Mishrif formation employing well log data, core analysis, and depositional modeling to elucidate reservoir characteristics and depos
This paper attempted to study the effect of cutting parameters (spindle speed and feed rate) on delamination phenomena during the drilling glass-polyester composites. Drilling process was done by CNC machine with 10 mm diameter of high-speed steel (HSS) drill bit. Taguchi technique with L16 orthogonal layout was used to analyze the effective parameters on delamination factor. The optimal experiment was no. 13 with spindle speed 1273 rpm and feed 0.05 mm/rev with minimum delamination factor 1.28. &

Show MoreBackground: During acrylic resin processing, the mold must be separated from the surface of the gypsum to prevent liquid resin from penetrating into the gypsum, and water from the gypsum seeping into the acrylic resin. For many years, tin foil was the most acceptable separating medium, and because it's difficult to apply, a tin-foil substitute is used. In this study, olive oil is used as an alternative to tin foil separating medium for first time, and evaluating its effect as a separating medium on some mechanical properties such as (indentation hardness and transverse strength) of acrylic resins denture base comparing it with those processed using tin-foil and tin foil substitute such as (cold mold seal) separating medium. Show MoreBackground: Poly (methyl methacrylate) has been widely utilized for fabrication of dentures for many years as it has good advantages but not achieved all demands of the mechanical properties such as low transverse strength, low impact strength, low surface hardness, high water solubility and high water sorption. Material and method: To provide bonding between ZrO2 nanoparticles and PMMA matrix, the ZrO2 Nano-fillers were surface-treated with a saline coupling agent. Plasma surface treatment of polyethylene (PE) fiber was done to change surface fiber by using DC- glow discharge system. For characterization of interring any functional groups, the (FTIR) spectrum were done .then the mechanical properties studied to choose the appropriate perc
