Reliability analysis methods are used to evaluate the safety of reinforced concrete structures by evaluating the limit state function 𝑔(𝑋𝑖). For implicit limit state function and nonlinear analysis , an advanced reliability analysis methods are needed. Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) can be used in this case however, as the number of input variables increases, the time required for MCS also increases, making it a time consuming method especially for complex problems with implicit performance functions. In such cases, MCS-based FORM (First Order Reliability Method) and Artificial Neural Network-based FORM (ANN FORM) have been proposed as alternatives. However, it is important to note that both MCS-FORM and ANN-FORM can also be time-consuming methods in their own right. MCS-FORM involves running multiple MCS, and the time required increases with problem complexity and desired precision. ANN-FORM, on the other hand, can be faster for repetitive reliability assessments, but the training phase can be computationally expensive, and accuracy depends on training data quality and quantity. To address this computational challenge and enhance the efficiency of reliability analysis, a novel method is proposed in this paper. This method leverages the capabilities of ABAQUS, in combination with MATLAB. The key objective of this proposed approach is to automate and streamline the repetitive tasks involved in reliability analysis, thereby significantly reducing the computational time required for such analyses. The method is based on the development of a custom ABAQUS Python script file, which interfaces with MATLAB. The script serves as a bridge between the finite element analysis capabilities of ABAQUS and the data processing and analysis capabilities of MATLAB. An illustrative example was considered to demonstrate the application of the proposed method. In this example, a deteriorated simply supported concrete beam with an implicit performance function was analysed. The objective was to assess the reliability of the beam under the given conditions. To perform this reliability analysis, the two methods were employed: MCS-FORM and ANN-FORM. Both of these methods were implemented in conjunction with the newly developed approach that integrates ABAQUS and MATLAB. The results of this analysis were quite promising. Both MCS-FORM and ANN-FORM successfully estimated the reliability of the concrete beam, and they exhibited a high level of agreement in their assessments. This presented method demonstrates its suitability for the application of reliability analysis in scenarios such as the one presented. Its efficiency in automating repetitive tasks not only simplifies the analysis process but also facilitates the generation of multiple simulations. By doing so, it significantly minimizes the time and computational resources required for reliability assessments.
The aim of this study is to investigate the protective effect of Radish (Raphanus sativus) seed alcoholic extract 70% against oxidative stress induced by sodium nitrite NaNO2 Twenty five adult male rabbits were devided into five groups of (five rabbits in each group) and treated daily for 30 days. Group T1: intubated orally 20 mg/kg NaNO2, Group T2: intubated orally 20 mg/kg NaNO2 + 50 mg/kg of alcoholic extract from Raphanus sativus seeds, Group T3: intubated orally 20 mg/kg NaNO2 + 100 mg/kg of alcoholic extract from Raphanus sativus seeds, Group T4: intubated orally 20 mg/kg NaNO2 + 200 mg/kg of alcoholic extract from Raphanus sativus seed as well as Group C: control intubated orally distilled water. The protection of D- fructose using benzoyl chloride was synthesized, followed by nucleophilic addition/elimination between benzotria- zole and chloroacetyl chloride to give 1-(1- chloroacetyl)- 1H-benzotriazole. The next step was condensation reaction of protected fructose and 1-(1-chloroacetyl)-1H- benzotriazole producing a new nucleoside analogue. The novel nucleoside analogues underwent a second conden- sation reaction with different aromatic and aliphatic amines to provide new Schiff b

The nutrient factors investigated included carbon source, nitrogen source, phosphate source and concentration, metal ions (salts) and the physical parameters investigated included inoculum size, pH, temperature and fermentation duration. Our investigations revealed that optimal productivity of phytase was achieved using wheat bran supplemented with: 1.5% glucose. 0.5% (NH4)2SO4, 0.1% sodium phytate. Additionally, optimal physical conditions were 1 × 105 spore/g substrate, initial pH of 5.0, temperature of fermentation 30˚C and fermentation dura

The central question for the proponents of this view was: what does the learner want/need to do with the target language? This lead to the emergence of a teaching method (or approach) called communicative language teaching (CLT) during the late 1970s and early 1980s focusing on the functions that must be incorporated into a classroom. According to Brown (2001:43) CLT is a unified but broadly based, theoretically well informed set of tenets about the nature of language and of language learning and teaching. Harmer (2001:84) states that the communicative approach is the name which was given to a set of beliefs which included not only a

Background: Blood group system and the ability to taste phenylthiocarbamide (PTC) are the most studied traits in human genetics which have been extensively used in describing genetic variations among human populations around the world that may had an effect on dental caries. The aims of present study were to investigate the caries experience among students with different bitter taste threshold in relation to blood type. Materials and Methods: The sample of present study includes dental students female aged19-21 years. The diagnosis of dental caries was done according to the criteria of Manjia et al, 1989 recording decayed lesion by severity (D1-4) MFS. Furthermore, bitter taste sensitivity was measured according to PTC (phenylthiocarbamid
