Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. The study was conducted to assess the attitude and awareness of a sample of people regarding the indiscriminate slaughter and its effects on health and the environment compared with slaughtering  in a slaughterhouse.
