Background: obesity is a serious public health problem. Literatures in Iraq explained that obesity due to
change in economy and Lifestyles.
Objective: To report on prevalence of obesity among women in Al- sader City, Baghdad. 2017.
Method: A total of 440 females were included in this study. They were Selected randomly from relatives
to patients accompanied them In attending to primary health care centers. BMI (body mass index) to
assess the Weight. Demo-graphic data were requested too.
Result: The prevalence of obesity was 35.2%. Age , education, divorced Widows were determinants of
obesity. Employment and crowding Index (socioeconomic status) were not obvious determinants of
obesity.

The problem of the research lies in special motor abilities training programs like the balance that positively affect coordination between the nervous system and muscles. These training programs did not get enough attention from athletes especially young athletes; their training was restricted to physical abilities like strength, speed, and endurance instead. The research aimed at designing an apparatus for developing athletes’ balance in national centers for gifted/ ministry of youth and sport so as to provide a measurement for coached in this field. Groundwater is very important for different uses in the present study area which represents Jisr Diyala, located in southeastern Baghdad and covered with quaternary deposits which include the shallow aquifer in the area. Groundwater and surface water were investigated to determine their suitable uses. The main ion concentrations of the wet period seemed to be lower than those in the dry period. According to TDS values, the water is classified as brackish to salty with a high degree of hardness. Most of water samples were of NaCl type due to pollution with sewage water and rock-water interaction. The results show that the water of the study area is suitable for livestock and irrigation purposes only.
