The Disi water samples were collected from different Disi aquifer wells in Jordan using a clean polyethylene container of 10-liter size. A hyper-pure germanium (HPGe) detector with high- resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy and a low background counting system was used for the identification of unknown gamma-rays emitting from radionuclides in the environmental samples. The ranges of specific activity concentrations of 226Ra and 228Ra in the Disi aquifer water were found to be from 0.302 ± 0.085 to 0.723 ± 0.207 and from 0.047 ± 0.010 to 0.525 ± 0.138 Bq L−1, with average values of 0.516 ± 0.090 and 0.287 ± 0.091 Bq L−1, respectively. The influence of Diethyl phthalate (DEP) on the optical characteristics of polystyrene solutions in the range between 200 to 400 nm at solvents of different polarities; chloroform, cyclohexane, dichloromethane, and tetrahydrofuran have been recorded. The experimental results showed that the behavior of the photophysical processes of polymer solutions depends on the nature of its environment. The intensity of the absorption and fluorescence spectra depends on the interactions between solvent-solute molecules. The experimental results indicate that the maximum most absorbance bands occur around 262 nm, which depends on the concentration of the quencher. The results did not determine any change in the positions of the most absorption bands.

Total of 46 isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were collected from patients attending (Al-Yarmook Hospital and Education Labs / medical city), and isolates were re-identified, depending on morphology and biochemical tests . Disk diffusion method was employed to determine antibiotic susceptibility of forty six isolates by using eleven antibiotics .The results revealed the sensitivity of six isolates (9.3%) to Imipenem and Meropenem . Background: Tubal ligation, recognized as a surgical intervention that ensures permanent contraception, has established itself as an option for women seeking a definitive solution for family planning. Objective: To assess the psychosexual implications of tubal ligation in a sample of women in Baghdad, Iraq. Methods: A prospective cohort study was conducted in a teaching hospital for 2 years, from the first of January 2022 to the end of December 2023, in which 203 women who underwent tubal ligation were included.
