Effect of Fertilization NPK-Nano and Humic Acid on Some Vegetative Growth Characteristics and Mineral Content of Apple Seedlings (Malus Domestica) Cv. Ibrahimi.
...Show More Authors

The research was carried out in lathhouse on one-year-old apple seedlings of the Ibrahimi variety in the Karma-Fallujah region for the 2021 growing season to study the effect of methods of adding nano-fertilizer and humic acid on seedling growth. A two-factor experiment was designed according to a randomized complete block design, with three replicates and two seedlings per experimental unit, so the number of seedlings was 54. The first factor includes NPK nanofertilizer at three levels (0- and 2-ml L-1 foliar spray and 5 ml L-1 soil application). The second factor is humic acid at three levels (0 and 5 g of seedlings - 1 foliar spray and 10 g of seedlings - 1 soil application). The results of the study show that the NPK nano-fertilizer and the method of adding caused a significant effect on most of the studied traits. The treatment with a concentration of (5 ml L-1 soil application) gave the highest rate for the trait, Plant height, number of leaves, and number of branches. As for humic acid and the procedure of adding it, the treatment with a concentration of (10 g seedlings - 1 soil application) gave the highest rate for number of leaves, number of branches and the chlorophyll total phenols content of the leaves. The results show that the interaction between the levels of nano-NPK and humic acid had a significant effect in increasing the rates of the measured traits, the treatment with 5 ml L-1 of the soil application NPK nanoparticles and 5 g of seedlings-1 foliar spraying of humic acid achieved the highest rate in some measured traits, including, chorophyll and total phenols content of the leaves. The Means of the coefficients were compared according to the L.S.D. test at a probability level of 0.05. Keywords: apple, humic acid, nano-NPK, total phenols, Cv. Ibrahimi

Water Temperature Effect on Hardness and Flexural Strength of (PMMA/TiO2 NPs) for Dental Applications
...Show More Authors

PMMA (Poly methyl methacrylate) is considered one of the most commonly used materials in denture base fabrication due to its ideal properties. Although, a major problem with this resin is the frequent fractures due to heavy chewing forces which lead to early crack and fracture in clinical use. The addition of nanoparticles as filler performed in this study to enhance its selected mechanical properties. The Nano-additive effect investigated in normal circumstances and under a different temperature during water exposure. First, tests applied on the prepared samples at room temperature and then after exposure to water bath at (20, 40, 60) C° respectively. SEM, PSD, EDX were utilized for samples evaluation in this study. Flexural

Histopathological Effect of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Kkidney and Liver Tissues in Albino Male Mice
...Show More Authors

Objective: The present study investigated the effects of different dose levels of Zinc oxide Nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) on the liver and kidney tissues in albino male mice. Methadology: ZnO NPs was administrated as a daily oral dose of (150, 350 mg/kg body weight) gavage for 2 weeks. Eighteen male mices were used by dividing them into three groups. Result: Histopathological examination of kidney and hepatic tissues treated with ZnO NPs showed toxicity changes compared with control group. Conclusion:This study demonstrated the ability of ZnO NPs to affect on kidney and liver tissues. Recommendation: More study needed to know the effect of different doses of nanoparticles on human health.

Synthesis of Manganese Dioxide Nanoparticles by Plant Extract Mediated and their Effect on Biofilm Formation
...Show More Authors

In the current work, Punica granatum L. peel, Artemisia herba-alba Asso., Matricaria chamomilla L., and Camellia sinensis extracts were used to prepare manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanoparticles utilizing a green method. Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, and Filed emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) analysis were used to evaluate the produced MnO2 NPs. FE-SEM pictures demonstrated how agglomerated nanoparticles formed. According to FE-SEM calculations, the particle size ranged from 18.7-91.5 nm. FTIR spectra show that pure Mn-O is formed, while EDX results show that Mn and O are present. The ability to suppress biofilm growth in the produced MnO

Rock facies classification and its effect on the estimation of original oil in place based on petrophysical properties data
...Show More Authors

The most significant function in oil exploration is determining the reservoir facies, which are based mostly on the primary features of rocks. Porosity, water saturation, and shale volume as well as sonic log and Bulk density are the types of input data utilized in Interactive Petrophysics software to compute rock facies. These data are used to create 15 clusters and four groups of rock facies. Furthermore, the accurate matching between core and well-log data is established by the neural network technique. In the current study, to evaluate the applicability of the cluster analysis approach, the result of rock facies from 29 wells derived from cluster analysis were utilized to redistribute the petrophysical properties for six units of Mishri
