Secnidazole was linked with ciprofloxacin as mutual prodrugs to get antibiotics with broader spectrum of activity, improved physicochemical properties and given by single dose to improve patient’s compliance. Furthermore, they provide structural modifications to overcome bacterial adaptation. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed using FT-IR, mass spectrometry, elemental microanalysis (CHNO) and some physiochemical properties. This modification was led to an increase in Log P values for Mutual I (Log P 1.114) and Mutual II (Log P 1.97) compared with its values for Secnidazole (Log P -0.373) and ciprofloxacin (Log P -0.832). ZnxNi1-x-yCuyFe2O4 spinel ferrite were prepared using solid state reaction method with (y=0.1, x=0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 ) . X-ray diffraction with diffractometer CuKα analysis have been carried out and studied showing single phase spinel cubic with space group FD͞ 3m for all prepared samples . Lattice parameters and crystallite grain size and x-ray density(ρx-ray) bulk density and porosity ratio's were calculated and showed good agreement with the international data reported in the scientific research's.

In the present study, composites were prepared by Hand lay-up molding and investigated. The composites constituents were epoxy resin as the matrix, 6% volume fractions of Glass Fibers (G.F) as reinforcement and 3%, 6% of industrial powder (Calcium Carbonate CaCO₃, Potassium Carbonate K₂CO₃ and Sodium Carbonate Na₂CO₃) as filler. Density, water absorption, hardness test, flexural strength, shear stress measurements and tests were conducted to reveal their values for each type of composite material.   In this research we study one of the pollutants(Gelbstoff ) such as Humic  and Fulvic Acids  in tap waters by using the technique of  Raman, Flora to some regions of Baghdad , the results appear that the tap waters  were pollutants which know yellow substance or Gelbstoff instant of suspending waters, which appear through the scattering of the incident light to same the wave length of Raman ,also calculate Raman shift which was 3640 cm-1 and force constant to band (O – H ) was 743 N/m, where the peak of Raman was at the wave length 441 nm after used the excitation wave length 380 nm . The results were in an agreement with lectures [8][9][10].

Iraqi grapefruit ( Citrus paradisi, family Rutaceae) flavonoids were investigated qualitatively and quantitatively. The total isolated flavonoids from seeds and peel were 3.6 mg and 12.53 mg respectively in each gram of powder. The antimicrobial activity of aqueous extracts and total isolated flavonoids from seeds and peel were assessed against strains of Gram positive bacteria( Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis), Gram negative bacteria( Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and yeast( Candida albicans). The aqueous extracts lacked antimicrobial activity against all bacteria and yeast, while the total flavonoids showed a moderate inhibitory effect against test bacteria and yeast.
