While when reacted with different aromatic aldehydes and one ketone consistence Schiff base derivatives [VII]a-e . The FTIR and 1HNMR were used for characterized the synthesized compounds, the synthesized derivatives have been screened for their two species of bacteria were used in this study as tested organisms. These are Escherichia Coli (Gram negative) and staphylococcus (Gram positive).
In this study, synthesis of polymer Nanocomposites through the blending of prepared polymers with polyvinyl alcohol (a synthetic polymer) or chitosan (a natural polymer) then mixed with nano oxide silica by many steps. The new compound [I] was obtained via reaction of 3,3’-dimethoxybiphenyl-4,4’-diamine as starting material with malic anhydride in DMF then treatment with ammonium persulfate (NH4 )2 S2 O8 (as the initiator) in order to produce polymer [II]. Also, we prepared new polymers [III-V] by using the same starting material (3,3’-dimethoxybiphenyl-4,4’-diamine) with glutaric acid or adipic acid or isophthalic acid in DMF and pyridine. In this study, new polymer blending [VI-IX] and [X-XIII] were synthesized from a prepared pol
... Show MoreSulfamethoxazole (SMX) is the most significant antibiotic in the sulfonamide family. It was chosen as the representative of this category because of its widespread use. Starting with sulfamethoxazole, a new series of 2-Azetidinone (M1-M6) was synthesized, the structure of these new derivatives was confirmed using spectral methods, starting with the synthesis of Schiff’s bases by reflux of different aromatic benzaldehydes, separately, with Sulfamethoxazole in ethanol with few drops of acetic acid. The final compounds were obtained by ketene-imine synthesis of β-lactam using chloroacetyl chloride. The designed chemicals’ synthesis has been completed successfully. Physical parameters (melting points and Rf values), Fourier transfo

Obtained compounds based on anthraquinone used for experimental antimicrobial studies. The structure of the synthesized compounds was confirmed by LC-MS and 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy. Studies on planktonic microorganisms have shown that the first synthesized anthraquinone derivatives have an inhibitory effect against bacteria and fungi. The triazene 1-(3-(benzoic acid(triaz-1-en-1-ol(-4-(1H-imidazol-1-yl(-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene -2-sulfonic acid, have wide spectrum of activity, growth retardation zones against gram-positive micro
... Show MoreIn this study, new oxazolidinone and thiazolidinone derivatives were synthesized through a three-step process. In the first step, o-aminothiophenol was reacted with p-aminobenzoic acid in hydrochloric acid to produce an amine containing a thiazole ring, achieving a product yield of 80%. The second step involves synthesizing Schiff bases (E1-E4) by reacting 4-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)aniline with various aromatic aldehydes in the presence of glacial acetic acid. This reaction yields products of 76% to 90%. In the third step, the Schiff derivatives (E1-E4) are reacted with glycolic acid and thioglycolic acid to obtain the desired products. Oxazolidinone derivatives (N1-T1) were produced with rates ranging from 66% to 74%, while thiazolidin

Show MoreA series of new heterocyclic aromatic derivatives compounds were synthesized by reacted of Bis-methylene-di-(2-aminobenzoyl chloride) with different chloride moieties such as piperidine-1-sulfonylchloride, Pryidine-3-sulfonylchloride, 4,4and#39;-(diazene-1,2-diyl)dibenzoyl-chloride and chloramphenicol respectively, to afforded a derivatives compound containing primary amine group [A-A4]. These derivative compounds [A-A4] were reacted with polyethanol using cold-warm esterification to synthesize of new graft polymers [B1-B4]. The structures of products were conforming by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. XRD-Diffraction of grafted polymer showed compound [B1 and B3] were crystal and semi-crystal respectively. As well as, derivatives

In this work a series of fourteen new compounds were synthesized. Compound [1] was formed from the reaction of 2-aminobenzothiazole and p-bromophenacyl bromide. Aldehyde group [2] was obtained from the reaction of compound [1] with pocl3 in presence of DMF and CHCl3 .After that shiff bases have been synthesized from the reaction of compound [2] with different aromatic amine to give new shiff bases [3- 5]. These new shiff bases have been reduced to their corresponding amine [6-8] by means of sodium borohydride. Then reaction of shiff bases [3-5] with phenyl isocyanate gives 3-cyclic lactam derivatives [9-11]. 3-cyclic Oxazepine derivatives [12-14] were obtained by reaction of shiff bases [3-5] with succinic anhydride. These new formed co

Show MoreA theoretical and protection study was conducted of the corrosion behavior of carbon steel surface with different concentrations of the derivative (Quinolin-2-one), namly (1-Amino-4,7-dimethyl-6-nitro-1H-quinolin-2-one (ADNQ2O)). Theoretically, Density Functional Theory (DFT) of B3LYP/ 6-311++G (2d, 2p) level was used to calculate the optimized geometry, physical properties and chemical inhibition parameters, with the local reactivity to predict both the reactive centers and to locate the possible sites of nucleophilic and electrophilic attacks, in vacuum, and in two solvents (DMSO and H2O), all at the equilibrium geometry. Experimentally, the inhibition efficiencies (%IE) in the saline solution (of 3.5%) NaCl were studied using potentiomet
