This study investigates the implementation of Taguchi design in the estimation of minimum corrosion rate of mild-steel in cooling tower that uses saline solution of different concentration. The experiments were set on the basis of Taguchi’s L16 orthogonal array. The runs were carried out under different condition such as inlet concentration of saline solution, temperature, and flowrate. The Signal-to- Noise ratio and ANOVA analysis were used to define the impact of cooling tower working conditions on the corrosion rate. The effect of the following treatments were tested on the adult and larval stages of hairy grain beetle Trogoderma granarium (Everts).The treatments were the combination of ozone gaz with high temperatures ( 35، 40 and 45C) and tempreture alone in addition to control treatment. Results showed that (Z+H) and (H) treatments were more lethally effective (100%mortality) than other treatment on larvae and adult stages of insect.
