Aim: To find any association between specific ABO blood groups and FUT2 secretory status and COVID-19 in a sample of Iraqi dentists. Materials and Methods: For each participant, a questionnaire including demography, COVID-19 status, blood grouping, and RH factor, with chemo-sensitive symptoms was recorded. The saliva samples were collected and DNA was extracted from leukocytes. Sequencing of molecular detection of the FUT2 gene by real-time PCR and the data was done, whilst drawing the phylogenetic tree. Results: Out of 133, most of the dentists were female 61%, most were just under 35 years of age. The most participants in this study were predominantly with blood group O (40%), followed by B, A, and AB, with (90%) of them were RH+.

This study has evaluated the humoral immune response in Golden Hamsters experimentally infected with Leishmania donovani along (4) times of follow up (15, 30, 60, 90) days after infection. Indirect haemagglutination test was used to determine the antibody titer through the various stages of the study. Also the progress of the infection was studied depending on some of the visceral changes caused by the parasite, like weight of liver, length & weight of spleen & the count of Leishmania parasites in spleen were measured. Background: Chronic hyperglycemia is the most frequent diabetes-related metabolic disorder because of faulty insulin action or production. According to the WHO, osteoporosis is a progressive systemic skeletal disorder that decreases bone mass and micro architecture bone tissue, increasing bone fragility and fracture risk. Objective: The current work aimed to examines age, BMI, HbA1c, fasting blood glucose, sclerostin, and lipid profiles (TC, TG, HDL-C, VLDL-C, and LDL-C) in Iraqi T2DM menopausal women with /without osteoporosis to detect biomarkers in such condition.
