Crime is a threat to any nation’s security administration and jurisdiction. Therefore, crime analysis becomes increasingly important because it assigns the time and place based on the collected spatial and temporal data. However, old techniques, such as paperwork, investigative judges, and statistical analysis, are not efficient enough to predict the accurate time and location where the crime had taken place. But when machine learning and data mining methods were deployed in crime analysis, crime analysis and predication accuracy increased dramatically. In this study, various types of criminal analysis and prediction using several machine learning and data mining techniques, based on the percentage of an accuracy measure of the previous work, are surveyed and introduced, with the aim of producing a concise review of using these algorithms in crime prediction. It is expected that this review study will be helpful for presenting such techniques to crime researchers in addition to supporting future research to develop these techniques for crime analysis by presenting some crime definition, prediction systems challenges and classifications with a comparative study. It was proved though literature, that supervised learning approaches were used in more studies for crime prediction than other approaches, and Logistic Regression is the most powerful method in predicting crime.
Medicine is one of the fields where the advancement of computer science is making significant progress. Some diseases require an immediate diagnosis in order to improve patient outcomes. The usage of computers in medicine improves precision and accelerates data processing and diagnosis. In order to categorize biological images, hybrid machine learning, a combination of various deep learning approaches, was utilized, and a meta-heuristic algorithm was provided in this research. In addition, two different medical datasets were introduced, one covering the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of brain tumors and the other dealing with chest X-rays (CXRs) of COVID-19. These datasets were introduced to the combination network that contained deep lea

This evidence to plagiarism has made the intrinsic approach for detecting plagiarism uncover the plagiarized passages through the analysis of the writing style for the suspicious document where a reference corpus to compare with is absent. The proposed work aims at discovering the deviations in document writing style through applying several steps: Firstly, the entire document is segmented into disjointed segments wherein each corresponds to a paragraph in the original document. For the entire document and for each segment, center vectors comprising average weight of their word are constructed. Second, the degree of cl

Show MoreMany consumers of electric power have excesses in their electric power consumptions that exceed the permissible limit by the electrical power distribution stations, and then we proposed a validation approach that works intelligently by applying machine learning (ML) technology to teach electrical consumers how to properly consume without wasting energy expended. The validation approach is one of a large combination of intelligent processes related to energy consumption which is called the efficient energy consumption management (EECM) approaches, and it connected with the internet of things (IoT) technology to be linked to Google Firebase Cloud where a utility center used to check whether the consumption of the efficient energy is s

Lies the problem of the study to identify a new type of crime is different from the same traditional character of the crimes or what was customary since human creation up to the information revolution and we enter the era of globalization, which is also called (cyber crime) and their negative impact on all segments of society, especially children, as they the day of the most important social security threats, for all local and international communities alike , and those risks require collective action to various sectors and segments of society ,especially the educated classes in order t
To expedite the learning process, a group of algorithms known as parallel machine learning algorithmscan be executed simultaneously on several computers or processors. As data grows in both size andcomplexity, and as businesses seek efficient ways to mine that data for insights, algorithms like thesewill become increasingly crucial. Data parallelism, model parallelism, and hybrid techniques are justsome of the methods described in this article for speeding up machine learning algorithms. We alsocover the benefits and threats associated with parallel machine learning, such as data splitting, communication, and scalability. We compare how well various methods perform on a variety ofmachine learning tasks and datasets, and we talk abo

Existing methods often operate within predetermined mathematical structures which can be subject to pattern recognition and which are lack biological randomness. To address these challenges, this paper introduced a new bio-inspired cryptography approach to protect text messages using the coding mechanisms of DNA and RNA materials. The encryption system consists of six steps: encoding the plaintext message into DNA sequences, transcribing DNA into RNA, applying the complementary base pairing, scrambling RNA segments, optional reverse transcription, and encoding the resulting DNA-RNA characters into ciphertext. Several recent studies have found that Covid-19 patients have a higher incidence of blood clots, and understanding the pathological pathways that lead to blood clot formation (thrombogenesis) is critical. Current methods of reporting thrombogenesis-related fluid dynamic metrics for patient-specific anatomies are based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, which can take weeks to months for a single patient. In this paper, we propose a ML-based method for rapid thrombogenesis prediction in the carotid artery of Covid-19 patients. Our proposed system aims
