Seismic data interpretation study has been done for Mishrif Formation in Nasiriyah oil field at the southern part of Iraq in order to update the structural image of Mishrif reservoir which is currently the main unit bearing the oil in subsurface area covered about (447) km2. This study is achieved by using Petrel, IP, and other approval software. Seismic to well tie method in conventional qualitative interpretation used to re-identify the top and bottom of the Mishrif reservoir which converted into structural depth maps and then followed by constructing and developing 3-D structural model helped to understand the vertical and lateral thickness extensions heterogeneity of Mishrif Formation in the field. The cap rock (CRI) has thickness ra

Show MoreThe current study included interpretations of the three-dimensional seismic survey data of the Najaf-Karbala region, which was recently implemented by the Fifth Amphibious Seismic crew of the Oil Exploration Company for the period from 30/1/2016 to 13/10/2017. The total area planned to be covered by the three-dimensional survey program was about (3340 km ²). The Zubair reflector was picked, interpreted, and tracked within the region. The faults affecting this reflector were captured. The reflector's temporal, velocity, and depth maps showed the presence of structural closure features in the southeast of the region and extensions to the structural noses to the northwest of the study area. The structural maps showed a general ten

Show MoreAn interpretive (structural and stratigraphic) study of the two,-dimensional seismic, data of East Nasiriya area (30 km to the south east of Nasiriya oil field within Thi-Qar province, southeastern Iraq) was carried out using Petrel 2017 program. The study area has an importance due to its location between many oil fields, but still without exploration of oil wells. Twenty five seismic lines were used, date back to different types of seismic surveys conducted in the region at different time periods. Also, the seismic velocity surveys of the nearest wells to oil fields, such as Nasiriya-1 and Subba-8, in addition to their sonic and density logs were used. A synthetic seismogram with a good matching with the seismic section was achie

The researcher followed the descriptive method by presenting the legal texts and jurisprudential opinions and linking them to contemporary economic problems. The research has reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that the goal of Islam in relation to consumption is to inform the Muslim of the amount of economic maturity, and the truth of alms is good in money and religion. It is necessary for achieving maturity that both means

It is located 60 Km southwest of Kirkuk oil field, and 35 Km southwest of Jambur oil field, the Daquq River passes through the study area. The reflectors in the seismic section were picked and identified by using the synthetic seismograms generated from the logs data of the Jd-1 well. Three main seismic reflectors, Fatha, Jeribe, and the Euphrates were chosen. These mentioned sedimentary formations were deposited during the Middle Miocene, Lower Miocene, and Early-Mid Miocene respectively. Time and depth maps were drawn for these three reflectors by processing average data f

Adjacent to the Fauqi and Abu Ghirab oil fields common with Iran. The 3D seismic data showed the structural and stratigraphic of the Buzurgan oil field, where the results showed that the structure is an anticline fold with two structural domes separated by a saddle, the northern culmination is shallower and less deformation. Thirty-one faults were detected and most of them at the south part of the field which are small while the north faults are larger.
