Social Media Portrayals of War of Waters: A Critical Discourse Analysis
...Show More Authors

Although war of waters has existed throughout history, it has gained increasing relevance in recent decades, particularly in regions where transboundary rivers are politically contested. One of the most critical and ongoing disputes is between Iraq and Turkey over the control on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The study seeks to achieve three primary objectives: investigating the types of transitivity processes most frequently used in the politicians' utterances; analysing how the positive self-representation and negative other-representation are uncovered in the politicians' utterances; and exploring the similarities and differences in these linguistic tools between the two opposing sides. To achieve these objectives, the research

Analysis of Prosthetic Running Blade of Limb Using Different Composite Materials
...Show More Authors

Prostheses are used as an alternative to organs lost from the body. Flex-Foot Cheetah is considered one of the lower limb prostheses used in high-intensity activities such as running. This research focused on testing two samples of Flex-Foot Cheetah manufactured of two various materials (carbon, glass) with polyester and compare between them to find the foot with the best performance in running on the level of professional athlete. In the numerical analysis, the maximum principal stress, maximum principal elastic strain, strain energy; finally, the blade total deformation were calculated for both feet. In experimental work, the load-deflection test was done for foot to calculate the bending the results were very close to

Linguostylistic Features of Astrological Discourse: A Comparative Analysis of 2025 Horoscopes
...Show More Authors

This article presents a comprehensive linguistic analysis of astrological discourse based on Russian-language horoscopes for 2025. The study focuses on identifying and systematizing the linguostylistic features of texts by different authors and publications. The methodological framework includes discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, and comparative method. The research material consists of annual forecasts for all twelve zodiac signs published on platforms such as Komsomolskaya Pravda, RIA Novosti, Mail.ru, AiF and other popular online publications. The analysis revealed significant variability in the use of modal means, metaphorical constructions, syntactic structures, and lexical units. It was established that authors employ specific li

PDF Lab-On-a-Chip an integrated microfluidic device sensitive low-Cost, and Rapid with a syringe pump for Analysis of Ibuprofen
...Show More Authors

Abstract: Microfluidic devices present unique advantages for the development of efficient drug assay and screening. The microfluidic platforms might offer a more rapid and cost-effective alternative. Fluids are confined in devices that have a significant dimension on the micrometer scale. Due to this extreme confinement, the volumes used for drug assays are tiny (milliliters to femtoliters).

In this research, a microfluidic chip consists of micro-channels carved on substrate materials built by using Acrylic (Polymethyl Methacrylate, PMMA) chip was designed using a Carbon Dioxide (CO2) laser machine. The CO2 parameters have influence on the width, depth, roughness of the chip. In order to have regular

Light scattering detector based on light-emitting diodes-Solar cells for a flow analysis of Warfarin in pure form and pharmaceutical formulations

Abstract<p>Continuous turbidimetric analysis (CTA) for a distinctive analytical application by employing a homemade analyser (NAG Dual & Solo 0-180°) which contained two consecutive detection zones (measuring cells 1 & 2) is described. The analyser works based on light-emitting diodes as a light source and a set of solar cells as a light detector for turbidity measurements without needing further fibres or lenses. Formation of a turbid precipitated product with yellow colour due to the reaction between the warfarin and the precipitation reagent (Potassium dichromate) is what the developed method is based on.
