The Iraqi transport infrastructure has suffered from the effects of war, carelessness, and lack of investment. Deasphalting oil (DAO) was examined on a laboratory scale by using solvents with different operation conditions (temperature, concentration of solvent, solvent to oil ratio, and duration time).
