This study was designed to investigate the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic activity of aqueous green tea (GT) extract in normal and alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Forty adult male albino rats weighing 180-200 g were divided into four groups of 10 rats each: The first group was served as control; the second group was treated with GT (250 mg/kg b.w); the third group was affected by inducing experimental diabetes by intraperitonial injection of alloxan (150 mg/kg b.w); and the fourth group was affected by inducing diabetes and treated with GT (250 mg/kg b.w). Level of blood glucose and lipid profile [total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDL-C)] were evaluated at the ending of the experimental period which was designed for 4 weeks. The results revealed that blood glucose level was significantly (P < 0.05) less in the GT-treated group than in the control. Also, diabetic rats treated with GT showed a significant (P<0.05) reduction in blood glucose level when compared with diabetic group. Levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and VLDL-C were significantly (P < 0.05) lower while the level of HDL-C was significantly (P < 0.05) higher in the GT treated group than that in the control. There was a significant (P<0.05) increase in levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and VLDL-C and a significant (P<0.05) decrease in level of HDL-C in diabetic rats when compared to the control group. However, administration of GT extract restored the levels of serum lipids to normal values.

From a scientific point of view، the research provides another scientific addition to the media library، especially with regard to journalistic treatments and methods of framing the Arab international press for the subject of the visit، which could be a starting point for other researchers to complete qualitative research in this field. The sample of research consisted of 59 students in one intermediate school in Baghdad/Iraq, split into two groups; experimental and control. The scientific material of the study is related to Chapters II and III of the Science Book for the second Intermediate School for the Year (2019-2020). The scientific test is composed of 25 test items whilst the second instrument for research related to systematic thinking test consisted of 12 items. The results of the research showed that the use of Fryer's chemistry-teaching strategy has increased achieve

It is located in the Iraqi Pterocles alchata bird on both sides of the aorta in the front and side of the cranial lobe of the kidney at the caudal end of the lungs, triangular shape with a creamy yellow color. The statistical analysis showed no significant differences between the weight and length of the right and left glands. Histologically the gland of the sandgrouse bird capsule contains autonomic nodes consisting of nerve cells and the average thickness of the capsule is 42.69±1.81μm, the parenchyma of the gland is divided into two areas; the cortex and medulla in addition to the blood sinuses. The extraction was followed by ethyl acetate then supernatant concentrate by using rotary evaporator, and dried with heat oven 37ºC. Long, yellowish, pristine acid crystals were obtained that examined the optical microscope with a magnification force of 10x and 40x. The melting point of kojic acid was determined between 152.9-153.5 °C Results of the diagnosis of Kojic acid by applying High pressure liquid chromatography HPLC technique showed that the acid was at one peak, which was close to the

The design of components subjected to contact stress as local compressive stress is important in engineering application especially in ball and socket Joining. Two kinds of contact stress are introduced in the ball and socket joint, the first is from normal contact while the other is from sliding contact. Although joining two long links (drive shaft in steering cars) will cause the effect of flexural and tensional buckling stress in hollow columns through the ball and socket ends on the failure condition of the joining mechanism. In this paper the consideration of the combined effect of buckling Load and contact stress on the ball and socket joints have been taken, epically on the stress distribution in the contact area.
