The aim of this research is to find out the impact of cognitive incompatibility schemes on the development of creative thinking skills among first grade students.
To prove the objective of the research, the researcher put the following hypothesis:
There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the average score of the experimental group who study the history of ancient civilizations according to the patterns of cognitive conflict and the average grades of the control group students who study the same subject in the usual way in the test of post-creative thinking skill

The study aims to examine the classroom activities of the developed English course (Flying High) for the high school first-grade students, identify creative thinking skills appropriate for this grade, and show the extent the classroom activities involve these skills from the female- teachers ‘point of view. The present study examines the main points of differences in the subject of greetings between the English language and the Arabic language. From the review of the related literature on greetings in both languages, it is found that Arabic greeting formulas are more elaborate than the English greetings, because of the differences in the social customs and the Arabic traditions and the Arabic culture. It is also found that Arabic greetings carry a religious meaning basing on the Islamic principle of “the same or more so”, which might lead to untranslatable loopholes when rendered in English.
