The goal of this work is to study plasma parameters for Fe plasma generated by exploding wire (EEW) in carbon nanotubes-water colloid with three current values (50, 100 and 150)A. In this research, the plasma electron temperature (T_e), the electron density (n_e), electron density (n_e), plasma frequency(f _p), Debye length (λ_D) and Debye number (N_D) were  found for Fe produced by Arc discharge plasma. Boltzmann plot was used to calculate the plasma electron temperature (T_e);electron density (n_e) was calculated from  Stark broadening.      In this work, the mass attenuation coefficient, effective atomic number and half value layer parameters were calculated for silicate (SiO2) mixed with various levels of lead oxide and iron oxide as reinforced materials. SiO2 was used with different concentrations of PbO and Fe2O3 (25, 50 and 75 weight %). The glass system was prepared by the melt-quenching method. The attenuation parameters were calculated at photon energies varying from 1keV to 100MeV using the XCOM program (version 3.1). Abstract. In this research, the uranium concentration in (16) water samples collected from some agricultural areas surrounded with AlTuwitha nuclear site in Baghdad-Iraq was measured by using a CR-39 detector. The concentration of uranium in this study was from (0.6 ± 0.33mg/l) to (2.51 ± 0.49 mg/l), and the weighted average for the concentrations (1.262 ± 0.402 mg/l). The results showed it is a concentration of uranium level in water samples studied is higher than the allowed limit recommended by WHO and ICRP.
