This study shows how the structural and dielectric properties of (SnO2)1-x(Mn2O3)x, (where x=0.00, 0.03, 0.05,0.07, and 0.09) prepared using the solid state reaction technique, are affected by the doping of semiconducting metal oxide Mn2O3. Structural analysis of the composites was carried out using information from the composite samples obtained from X-ray diffraction (XRD). The diffraction peak shifting in XRD patterns indicated that Mn ions were successfully incorporated into the SnO2 crystal lattice. Mn ions were successfully doped in the Tin oxide matrix lattice with the subsequent increase of doping levels. The average crystal size evaluated using Scherrer's equation was found to vary from 33 to 37 nm, and the lattice constants were a=4.68-3.69 and c=3.166-3.173. This work also tested the dielectric characteristics of (SnO2)1-x(Mn2O3) x composites. The effects of Mn doping were interpreted and discussed. The effects of Mn doping on the σa.c(ω), exponent (s), dielectric constant, dielectric loss, relaxation time, and polarizability were also studied.
Polymer blended electrolytes of various concentrations of undoped PAN/PMMA (80/20, 75/25, 70/30, 65/35 and 60/40 wt%) and doped with lithium salts (LiCl, Li2SO4H2O, LiNO3, Li2CO3) at 20% wt have been prepared by the solution casting method using dimethylformamide as a solvent. The electrical conductivity has been carried out using an LCR meter. The results showed that the highest ionic conductivity was 2.80x10-7 (Ω.cm)-1 and 1.05x10-1 (Ω.cm)-1 at 100 kHz frequency at room temperature for undoped (60% PAN + 40% PMMA) and (80% PAN + 20% PMMA) doped with 20%wt Li2CO3 composite blends, respectively. It was found from the measurements of the A.C conductivity of undoped (PAN+PMMA) and doped with different lithium salts in the frequency

The addition of organic-inorganic hybrid nanoparticles presents a promising avenue for enhancing both the ionic conductivity at room temperature and the mechanical resilience of solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs). In this study, a novel nanocomposite solid polymer electrolytes (NSPEs) based on poly(ethylene oxide)-lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate (PEO20-LiDFOB) incorporating polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-poly(ethylene glycol) (POSS-PEG(13.3)) hybrid nanoparticles were developed. And also reported the effect of POSS-PEG(13.3) hybrid nanoparticles on the structural, thermal, electrical, mechanical, and electrochemical properties of the (PEO20-LiDFOB) SPE. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry analysis (DSC) and polar
... Show MoreIn the present work, pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique was applied to a pellet of Chromium Oxide (99.999% pure) with 2.5 cm diameter and 3 mm thickness at a pressure of 5 Tons using a Hydraulic piston. The films were deposited using Nd: YAG laser λ= (4664) nm at 600 mJ and 400 number of shot on a glass substrate, The thickness of the film was (107 nm). Structural and morphological analysis showed that the films started to crystallize at annealing temperature greater than 400 oC. Absorbance and transmittance spectra were recorded in the wavelength range (300-
4400) nm before and after annealing. The effects of annealing temperature on absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of d
In this work, two graphene oxide (GO) samples were prepared using the Hummers method with graphite (g) and KMnO4 (g) ratios of 1:3 (GO3) and 1:6 (GO6). The effect of oxidation degree on the structural, electrical, and dielectric properties of the GO samples was investigated. The structures of the GO samples were studied using various techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). XRD analysis revealed an increase in the interlayer spacing and a decrease in the number of layers of the samples with increasing oxidant content. The two GO samples have giant permittivity values of ~105 in the low-frequency
... Show MoreThin films of Mn2O3 doped with Cu have been fabricated using the simplest and cheapest chemical spray pyrolysis technique onto a glass substrate heated up to 250 oC. Transmittance and absorptance spectra were studied in the wavelength range (300 -1100) nm. The average transmittance at low energy was about 60% and decrease with Cu doping, Optical constants like refractive index, extinction coefficient and dielectric constants (εr), (εi) are calculated and correlated with doping process.
Steel fiber aluminum matrix composites were prepared by atomization technique. Different air atomization conditions were considered; which were atomization pressure and distance between sample and nozzle. Tensile stress properties were studied. XRF and XRD techniques were used to study the primary compositions and the structure of the raw materials and the atomized products. The tensile results showed that the best reported tensile strength observed for an atomization pressure equal to 4 mbar and sample to nozzle distance equal to 12 cm. Young modulus results showed that the best result occurred with an air atomization pressure equal to 8 mbar and sample to nozzle distance equal to 16cm
In this paper Alx Ga1-x As:H films have been prepared by using new deposition method based on combination of flash- thermal evaporation technique. The thickness of our samples was about 300nm. The Al concentration was altered within the 0 x 40.
The results of X- ray diffraction analysis (XRD) confirmed the amorphous structure of all AlXGa1-x As:H films with x 40 and annealing temperature (Ta)<200°C. the temperature dependence of the DC conductivity GDC with various Al content has been measured for AlXGa1-x As:H films.
We have found that the thermal activation energy Ea depends of Al content and Ta, thus the value of Ea were approximately equal to half the value of optical gap.
Thin films of ZnO nano crystalline doped with different concentrations (0, 6, 9, 12, and 18 )wt. % of copper were deposited on a glass substrate via pulsed laser deposition method (PLD). The properties of ZnO: Cu thin-nanofilms have been studied by absorbing UV-VIS, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopes (AFM). UV-VIS spectroscopy was used to determine the type and value of the optical energy gap, while X-ray diffraction was used to examine the structure and determine the size of the crystals. Atomic force microscopes were used to study the surface formation of precipitated materials. The UV-VIS spectroscopy was used to determine the type and value of the optical energy gap.
