This work investigates removing the Malachite Green (MG) dye, the poly acrylic hydrogel beads used as a surface to adsorb the dye, the isotherm of adsorption was examined and aspects that influence it, like increasing heat, adding salt, the influence of dry beads and effect of shaking. according to the results, the effect of the adsorption has been found that it is matched to the Friendlish equation much more than Langmuir and Temkin equations. A positive relationship between the adsorption process and the increase in temperature is found that adsorption increases when the temperature increase. ... Show MorePhotocatalytic degradation of methylene blue was studied using CdS and ZnS as catalyst. The photocatalytic activity of the specimen was studied by exposing to UV-radiation. The result shows that the degradation efficiency of the dye for CdS micro-particles was 92% after 7 hours and for ZnS micro-particles was 88.29% for the same time interval.

Dapsone was used as the derivatizing agent for the determination of thymol, and thymol was used as the derivatizing agent for the determination of Dapsone. An optimization study was performed for the derivatization reaction; i.e., the diazonium coupling reaction. Linear regression calibration plots for thymol and Dapsone in the direct reaction were constructed at 460 nm, within the concentration range of 0.3-7 μg ml-1 for thymol and 0.3-4 μg ml-1 for Dapsone, with limits of detection 0.086 and 0.053 μg ml-1, respectively.
