STAG3 is the meiotic component of cohesin and a member of the Cancer Testis Antigen (CTA) family. This gene has been found to be overexpressed in many types of cancer, and recently, its variants have been implicated in other disorders and many human diseases. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the major variants of STAG3. Western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) assays were performed using two different anti-STAG3 antibodies that targeted the relevant protein in MCF-7, T-47D, MDA-MB-468, and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells with Jurkat and MCF-10A cells as positive and negative controls, respectively. In silico analyses were searched to study the major isoforms. WB and IP assays revealed two abundant polypeptides < 191 kDa and
... Show MoreDi Benzylidenes were prepared by condensation of 1,2-diamino benzene with o- hydroxy benzaldehyde. These dibenzylidenes when treated with one equivalent of malonic anhydride or 5-oxo-spiro[2,3]hexane-4,6-dione in dry benzene give 6-membered heterocyclic ring system of 3-{2-[(2-Hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-phenyl}-2-(2-hydroxy –phenyl)-[1,3]oxazinane-4,6-diones ( 1-3) or 7-{2-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-phenyl}-6-(2-hydroxy-phenyl)-5-oxa-7-aza-spiro[2.5]octane-4,8-diones ( 7- 9 ) But when two equivalents of malonic anhydride or 5-oxo-spiro[2,3]hexane-4,6-dione were used and under sam conditions compounds (4-6 , 10-12 ) were obtained .
Background: Nowadays, the environmentally friendly procedures must be developed to avoid using harmful compounds in synthesis methods. Their increase interest in creating and researching silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) because of their numerous applications in many fields especially medical fields such as burn, wound healing, dental and bone implants, antibacterial, viral, fungal, and arthropodal activities. Biosynthesis of nanoparticles mediated pigments have been widely used as antimicrobial agent against microorganisms. Silver nanoparticles had synthesized by using melanin from locally isolate Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and used as antimicrobial activity against pathogenic microorganisms. Aim of the study: Isolation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
... Show MoreThis study develops a systematic density functional theory alongside on-site Coulomb interaction correction (DFT + U) and ab initio atomistic thermodynamics approachs for ternary (or mixed transitional metal oxides), expressed in three reservoirs. As a case study, among notable multiple metal oxides, synthesized CoCu2O3 exhibits favourable properties towards applications in solar, thermal and catalytic processes. This progressive contribution applies DFT + U and atomistic thermodynamic approaches to examine the structure and relative stability of CoCu2O3 surfaces. Twenty-five surfaces along the [001], [010], [100], [011], [101], [110] and [111] low-Miller-indices, with varying surface-termination configurations were selected in this study.
... Show MoreThree ligands were prepared, spectroscopic method and elemental analysis verified their structures. The L1 and L2 ligands are flavylium salts while the third one L3 is a Flavon. The reactions between transition metal salts and the ligands have synthesized two groups of new metal complexes, one group contains L1, L3 coordinated with the metal ion. The other group contains L2, L3 and the metal. These complexes have been identified by available spectroscopic tools (UV-Visible and IR), the C.H.N results confirmed the proposed structures. The experimental data disclosed that the complexes were coordinated by 6the coordinate with mono-and bidentate ligands forming octahedral structure, in which L3 acts as monodentate and L1, L2 as bidentate ligan

Methods: Ampicillin and Amoxicillin are linked directly through their α-amino groups to the acyl side chain with isatin and isatin derivatives by nucleophilic addition using glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. Results: chemical structures of these Schiff bases were confirmed using FTIR, 1H NMR and elemental microanalysis. The antibacterial activity was evaluated by measuring minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values and showed various degrees of antibacterial activities when compared with parent drugs. Compounds 1a and 2b, which are the Schiff bases of ampicillin and amoxicillin with isatin, showed very

Show MoreTin dioxide (SnO2) were mixed with (TiO2 and CuO) with concentration ratio (50, 60, 70, 80 and 90) wt% films deposited on single crystal Si and glass substrates at (523 K) by spray pyrolysis technique from aqueous solutions containing tin (II) dichloride Dihydrate (SnCl2, 2H2O), dehydrate copper chloride (CuCl2.2H2O) and Titanium(III) chloride (TiCl3) with molarities (0.2 M). The results of electrical properties and analysis of gas sensing properties of films are presented in this report. Hall measurement showed that films were n-type converted to p- type as titanium and copper oxide added at (50) % ratio. The D.C conductivity measurements referred that there are two mechanisms responsible about the conductivity, hence it possess two act
