Abstract

The current study aims to identify university students' attitudes towards reading and its relationship to some demographic variables in the universities of the Sultanate of Oman. The study sample consisted of (1434) male and female university students from various Omani public and private universities affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education. The research aims to identify the degree of crystallized intelligence among Intermediate School Female Students , and the research sample reached (200) students. The two researchers used the crystallized intelligence test tool prepared by Dr. (Morsi, 2001), The use of words and their meanings (linguistic outcome), abstract thinking, the acquisition of general information and experiences in daily life, the use of numbers and their sequence, mathematical thinking).
