The level of adipokines (interleukin-6 and vaspin) in hyperthyroid patients treated with carbimazole drug was determined. Eighty-five male and female participated in this study, with mean age from 20-70 years. They included: negative control group of thirty euthyroid persons represented group 1, twenty-five hyperthyroid patient (positive control) included in the second group and thirty hyperthyroid patients treated with carbimazole drug for one year or less comprised the third group. Methodology: This study is carried out at the Rehabilitation Center-Baghdad from November 2009 till
March 2010. This study includes (40) patient, their ages are from (13) to (55) years old; (24) male and
(16) female with unilateral facial palsy of undetermined cause. House-Brackmann facial recovery
scores have been used before and after the physiotherapy treatment.

This study investigated the potential of bacterial culture in bioremediation of gasoline pollutant soils. Klebsiella pneumoniae has shown a tremendous ability in bioremediation of gasoline. K.pneumoniae was isolated from three electrical generator pollutant soils with gasoline in different regions from Baghdad (Abu-Graib, Al-Khadra quarter and Al-Seleikh region.
