The paper is highlighting the athletics and heroic sports which encouraged and played at Greek and Islamic period. The paper is identifying the Islamic athletics and heroic sport and compare them with Greek sports, as it is the model of sports while the sport during the Islamic period was not undertaken by scientific researches or articles even in Wikipedia. Although, this period was encouraged and practice many sports such as archery, sword grappling and wrestling, equestrianism, jogging and running whereas there are many Arabic references revealed during the Islamic 610 A.D. while the Greek and Olympic was known at 732 A.D. The paper is followed the literature review and historical to shied a light scientifically about traditional sports as well introduce these sports to readers which might some people do not know them. Finally, the paper has indicated that there are similarities between the Islamic period sports and Greek period in many points.
The study of surface hardness, wear resistance, adhesion strength, electrochemical corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity of coatings composed from sodium silicate was prepared using graphite micro-size particles and carbon nano particles as fillers respectively of concentration of (1-5%), for the purpose of covering and protecting the oil distillation towers. The current study included details of the anatomical characteristics of vegetative parts including the root, stem, leaf in cultivated Iraq for the species Brassciaaleraceacabbage, where the study dealt with the stomatal index and the rate of both the length and width of the stomatal complex and the thickness of the periderm, the tissue, cortex, vascular cylinder and pith. The parts were taken and measured after the plant was treated with brassinolide and the treated species with brassinolide and non-treated were measured and the study showed that there was a clear variation in the properties above.
This research aims to analyze the indicators of spatial variation in the guide of health field in both Al-Adhamiyah and Rusafa districts according to the environmental and administrative units in 2016. The analysis was done by groups of health guide indicators. The objectives of the study were to identify the spatial variation of health services and assess the health situation for families following the environmental and administrative units of the studied area.
