Thought and emotion with their role in interior design
...Show More Authors

The current research deals with thought and emotion and their role in interior design, and in the firstchapter, the research problem was identified through contemplation and an extensive study of theextent of the possibility of representing thought and emotion and shedding light on them according towhat the research seeks to express, which theorizations in the field of interior design have not beenexposed to. The importance of the research was manifested in being a cognitive addition to researchersin the field of interior design in the College of Fine Arts and its corresponding colleges, to benefit from ascientific material that is unique in dealing with the terms of thought and emotion in designs for publicinterior spaces by studying the design features and structures that ensure its achievement. The objectivesof the research were determined by revealing thought and emotion and the extent of their reflections intranslating positive human feelings, to reach interior designs that have their thought and emotionalcontent. Regarding the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework of the research byhighlighting the theoretical aspects that are directly related to the topic of the research, as the first topicdealt with the concept of thought, while the second topic dealt with emotion and emotional thought inthe internal space, and indicators, while the third chapter focused on the research methodology andprocedures by defining the descriptive approach in analyzing samples and the research community. Asfor the research sample, it was for the Taj Mahal and the celebration hall for Walt Disney, to reach theresearch objectives clearly, The most important results were: the thought was characterized by the activepresence in both models at the level of the designer and design in an expressive manner in which theprocess of extrapolating the interior design is integrated, by dealing with it according to effective creativevisions that serve two purposes at the same time, the first is intellectually attractive, interesting andinfluential in attracting the recipient, and the second is emotional to achieve the purpose of the idea. The most important conclusions were manifested in the following: the design vision was based on itsintellectual dimensions according to what was stated by the variables of human thought, and in itsemotional aspect, which gave a sensory and intellectual impetus to the treatment of the formal structuresof the design system elements (PDF) Thought and emotion with their role in interior design. Investigating the Effects of Canard Dihedral Angle on the Wing Span Loading in a Forward-Swept Wing Aircraft at Transonic Speeds at Steady State Conditions Using Computational Fluid Dynamics
...Show More Authors

Forward-swept wings were researched and introduced to improve maneuverability, control, and fuel efficiency while reducing drag and they are often used alongside canards, to further enhance their characteristics. In this research, the effects of canard dihedral angles on the wing loading of a forward-swept wing in transonic flow conditions were studied, as the wing loading provides a measure of wing’s efficiency (lift/drag). A generic aircraft model from literatures was selected, simulated, and compared to, using CFD software ANSYS/Fluent where the flow equations were solved to calculate the aerodynamic characteristics. The research was carried at two different Mach numbers, 0.6 and 0.9, for five different canard dihedral angles which tra

On The Nearby-Tip Strain Investigation and Failure-Propability Evaluation for Impacted Thin Plates Using the 2-Random-Variables Multi-Canonical-Based Joint Propability Distributions
...Show More Authors

The study of the validity and probability of failure in solids and structures is highly considered as one of the most incredibly-highlighted study fields in many science and engineering applications, the design analysts must therefore seek to investigate the points where the failing strains may be occurred, the probabilities of which these strains can cause the existing cracks to propagate through the fractured medium considered, and thereafter the solutions by which the analysts can adopt the approachable techniques to reduce/arrest these propagating cracks. In the present study a theoretical investigation upon simply-supported thin plates having surface cracks within their structure is to be accomplished, and the applied impact load to the
