  Corrosion behavior of aluminium in 0.6 mol. dm-3 NaCl solution in acidic medium 0.7 was investigated in the absence and presence of different concentrations of amino acid, methionine, as environmentally – friendly corrosion inhibitor over temperature range (293-308)K. The investigation involved electrochemical polarization method using potentiostatic technique and optical microscopy, the inhibition efficiency increased with an increase in inhibitor concentration but decreased with increase in temperature. There is not enough studies about bacterial contamination of air condition system in the cars and houses, bacterial detection of such   surrounding is necessary for the human environment.

The object of recent study was to evaluate the level of bacterial contamination in air conditioner in cars and houses in Baghdad city, Iraq.

Air samples were taken indoor from cars and house air conditioner   in the Baghdad city.  The result indicated that gram positive bacteria more than gram negative bacteria in air conditioner. Air condition of cars (20-500 CFU) was more contaminated than of houses (10-100 CFU).

The present study was identified the type of bacterial contamination of Iraqi banknotes currency (Iraqi dinars) in circulation. 68 Iraqi banknotes currency of different denominations samples were randomly gathered from different locations and different occupational groups in Baghdad city. The results showed 61 (89.70%) of the samples were determined to be contaminated with bacteria, whereas 7 (10.29%) were confirmed to be sterile.
