Different additives are used in drilling fluids when the demanded properties cannot be gotten with clays. Drilling muds needs several additives and materials to give good characteristics. There are local alternatives more suitable for enhancing the rheology and filtration of drilling fluids. An experimental work had been conducted to assess the suitability of using potato starch to enhance rheological properties and filtration in drilling mud. This study investigated the potato starch as a viscosifier and fluid losses agent in drilling fluid. Ground state energies and other properties of 2S shell for some atoms as Be(Z=4), B(Z=5), C(Z=6) and N(Z=7) were calculated by using Hartree-Fock wave function. We found the values of potential energies in hartree unit (3.8369, 6.78565, 10.18852 and 14.41089) respectively and the other proprieties like expectation values of the position < r₁^m >  were in agreement with the published results. All the studied atomic properties were normalized.

New hydrazide compounds (A2) and (A9) were prepared from their corresponding esters (A1, A8) .These esters were also prepared from their precursors 5-ethoxy carbonyl-(4methoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-2-thione (A1) via multicomponent reaction type and from hippuric acid respectively. The hydrazide compounds were then allowed to react with some aldehydes forming the corresponding hydrazones (A3-7) and (A1014). The synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and Mass spectroscopies and well discussed. .

Double-layer micro-perforated panels (MPPs) have been studied extensively as sound absorption systems to increase the absorption performance of single-layer MPPs. However, existing proposed models indicate that there is still room for improvement regarding the frequency bands of absorption for the double-layer MPP. solids(7, 10 and13 g/100 g )content . Steam pressure (2,3,and 4 bar), the level of pool between the drums (4,7,and 10
cm) , and speed of drums rotation (3,4,and 6 rpm) are varied together with the feed solids content in a practical range of
values. The response of the dryer is registered by measuring several output variables, i.e. external drum temperature,
product moisture content, mass flow rate.
