Background: Urological anomalies are frequently associated with anorectal malformations which are a common source of significant morbidity.

Objective: Is to evaluate the incidence and nature of the urological anomalies with patients of anorectal malformations (ARM).

Patients & methods: The data  from  95 patients with ARM were studied from January 2009 to January 2012 in this cross-sectional study. All patients underwent sonography of urinary tract. Voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) was done in patient with abnormal sonography & to all male patients with ARM who underwent colostomy. Other imaging studies were done in selected cases.

The objective of the present work is to measuring the concentration of heavy elements (Pb, Cd, Zn, As) in Baghdad's soil city and indication to the probable sources of pollution as well as comparing the concentration of heavy elements with local and international ranges. In this study, four sampling stations were selected on the Tigris River (Baghdad region) in order to determine concentrations, seasonal variation and pollution intensity assessment of heavy metals (Cd, Zn and Mn) in water, sediments and Barbus xanthpterus fish in this river. The study results showed that the mean concentration of dissolved heavy metals (cadmium, zinc and manganese) were 0.004 ppm, 0.023 ppm and 0.007 ppm, respectively.      The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of noise exposure in certain residential districts in Fallujah city. Twenty-nine stations were selected and divided into two groups; the first group was located 50 to 100 metres from the main streets (quiet areas), whilst the second was located directly on the main streets. Noise levels were measured at a rate of three readings per station for different time periods for approximately sixty days in the year 2020.
